I’m posting this just for those that feel this video is “not compatible with the tittle” and don’t reeeeeally explain why. But, btw I really found the video nicely informative, really well done, it’s good content and all around awesome. Thanks for sharing, hugs all the way from Puerto Rico. I mean…it’s there. He did say the filters/effects that he used to distort the sounds he gathered. The man gave us a great short version of super complicated tutorials, but with the necessary details on how we could and can do it. The video is a cool diy ❤.

As an extreme vocalist, I do have to warn people about inhaled screams. In moderation the scream isn't to bad for your voice but, excessive use can cause damage to your voice. As an alternative your can learn false chord, which you can get some brutal lows and gutterals with it and it's not to hard to learn.

I would always use a real kick for a deep layer and a noise if you have one.. and only 1 recorded layer with a lot of pingpong and reverb 👌 and maybe even a synth on top with lfo mod or pitch down or so

Nice tutorial! I do this sort of thing from telling stories with sounds effects, and this is a good rep of what it takes to make a good monster noise.

As @kharmatic9394 says, please come back and make some more stuff. It's super valuable, especially when you show how you transform the sounds in Reaper. It's very mesmerizing and interesting, especially when I am trying to create my own game.

Im a fledgling solo dev, iv been using FL studio since 2006, do you think it is a good or bad way to approach and learn sound design? i have some experience in synthesis with intruments, but iv never tried to make sound affects. ill be diving in to your videos to see what i can glean and learn. So far great job, and explanations of the whys.

Great video! Could you possibly see about releasing the code/making a tutorial? I've never heard of "wwise" before this point. Even just a quick overview of how to set it up in unity would be great!

This was exactly what I was searching for. Recently I had this idea of making a monster sound that sounds unsettling human-like using my own voice, speaking some weird stuff, using maybe throat singing, guttural screams like pig squeal and some effects, but I wasn't sure if it could sound monster-like instead of demonic.

This was quite helpful. Ive usually sourced various animal sounds to create my own custom creature noises but now I’ll be experimenting more with my own voice.

I am also trying to build up a sound library by field recording, but also would like to learn how to alter some sounds to game "game sound packs." I get a little discouraged since I wonder why anyone would wanna use my stuff, but I'll keep workin at it since I enjoy it. Thanks for your videos, ^_^ They will help a lot.

Sound design is so cool. Ive dabbled with it on my minecraft server when i was a kid, but never got it to work in game so i gave up lol. Still, making cave drips, crow sounds, wolves howling in the distance, really brought the world to life.
