    The MOAB is cool, but so is your thing. They are of equal dart-vomit quality. If given the choice between the theoretical perfected this thing and the MOAB, I’d run this for portability.

    Poker hands would be harder to rig, because the dealer must cut the cards after retrieving it from the machine. So the dealer would have to be in on it and either do a false or precise cut to get the desired order of cards. Or the programmer rigging the hand would have to guesstimate where they think the dealer will cut cards.

  • @3DprintedLife
    @3DprintedLife12 күн бұрын

    Yes you’re very right and that’s exactly why cutting the deck is a thing. There are some theoretical hands where you can guarantee or almost guarantee a certain player wins no matter the cut but there are few combinations that can do this. And they of course only work with a specific number of players

  • @Mitjitsu
    @Mitjitsu12 күн бұрын

    @@3DprintedLife If it's just two players it is possible to stack the deck. So no matter what cut is made a certain player will win the hand, but no idea if you can do that with 8-9 players.

  • @3DprintedLife
    @3DprintedLife10 күн бұрын

    Yeah I think I’ve only seen options that work with <4 players. It almost certainly isn’t possible to guarantee the best hand with a full table. But I’m sure there are still clever ways to gain an advantage in this scenario that aren’t as straightforward

    Commercial boxes often use an eliptical bearing instead of rollers, which increases the number of theeth in contact. But, where do you get an eliptical bearing? You take a thin section bearing and squash it a bit in a vice! 3D Print an eliptical boss to fit tightly in the centre of the bearing to stop it returning to circular. With this approach, you can go back to your original toothed belt design, as the belt is stretched over the bearing, which removes (most of) the backlash. The combination of the two significantly increase the overall strength.

    I just love it when I catch people cheating in COD casuals, and they come up with the dumbest excuses as to why they can not possibly be cheating, from "Im on PS5" to "skill issue" and when I pay close attention to the killcams, I can actually see, their cross hairs perfectly tracking people across walls and keep up perfectly, with random movements of other players. Some people are real low life degenerates with dopamine deficiency and should get medical help, before they start cheating IRL and g et in deep trouble.

    That's pretty interesting. Whiteline's polyurethane blend called includes PTFE (Teflon) so their bushings theoretically become self lubricating in the same way you're using tape here.
