    @southeastvintagecyclerescue Sir I am installing that exact exhaust as we text! If you'd I be the happy to send you a pic of my little ct 125 when I'm finished here in a bit. I've got a problem. Which end or direction of donut gasket goes into exhaust port? I don't want to put it in backwards or upside down. Wrong. Any & all advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. It's probably a common sense thing I'm sure but it looks like maybe it could possibly go either way?

    Me again. I watch your interesting videos and I also build a bike. I am ready to order wheels like yours and some tires, but I don't know if I will be able to put the tires on the wheels myself at home. Local motorcycle dealers will not install tires that you did not buy from them. When you mounted the tires did you have the hubs and rims mounted together? How did you solve it? How wide are your handlebars? Are they wider than the original handlebars? Sorry for so many questions. Thx

  • @southeastvintagecyclerescue
    @southeastvintagecyclerescue24 күн бұрын

    I did not have the hub mounted when I installed the tires. I just used a lot of soapy water and took my time putting the tires on. It wasn't easy but I got it done. My bars are clone CT70 bars. Not sure exactly how wide they are. They are a bit wider than stock.

    I don’t understand you guys who want one of these and talk smack about the quick, possibly, had to fix while riding, or the machine was dads and some young guy who wants to ride need to get it going to have fun, or needed a work machine but didn’t have the money to do it completely factory new at the time type of repairs. It’s 40 years old. As long as you get quality parts and you can do quality work, if it’s not going into the Smithsonian, why does everything need to be “factory” or “old new stock”? And to assume everything was repaired the way it was is due to being “dumb ole backwoods bubba from alerbama “ shows ignorance on your part sir.
