It’s a Bilt helmet from cycle gear. The visor is clear on that one. The helmet I wear now is an Arai Signet X. That one has a photochromatic visor that tints automatically in sunlight.

Hey DJ, was wondering what type/make of gloves you are using; you seem to be able to work all the buttons on the bike plus on your phone and GPS with out any fumbling around. The gloves look like they would be rather clumsy when wanting to push a button. Thanks

Those gloves are made by Sedici. At first they’re a little cumbersome, but as soon as they’re broken in they’re fantastic. I bought little stickies from Amazon for the fingers to make them touch screen compatible.

If you guys think those brown treeless hills are beautiful, it just gets better the further north you go. I live up in Crescent City and I am surrounded by huge redwoods and firs. I can throw a rock and hit them if I wanted to. You're going to love it up here.

I was fully loaded in the trailer. It was just that one section that was a little crazy. Gusts that must have been upwards of 80/85mph. Even in that wind though, the trailer held steady.

Hi RoadGlide. Had so much fun on this trip. Wait till you see the footage up north of the redwood forest. Incredible. Kevin and I are always teasing with the Honda/Harley setups, but you’re right, both great machines. They both handled the trip with ease. I’m still surprised with how well the Goldwing handled fully loaded with a trailer. Amazing touring bikes.
