    As someone who use to do body work.. i dont think its a door ding. The fender "flare" above the wheel sticks out further and would have got hit. Also the dent is more circle..like something was thrown at it or road debri hit it. Regardless it sucks but should be q very simple fix. I fixed a similar ping with a glue stick before.

    I feel you with how it sticks out so bad to you. People always say it’s not that bad but really on video it’s not noticeable most of the time. Should be easily fixable by PDR!

    That sux brotha!! I’ve had my fair share of jerks damage my car.. I don’t park my car anywhere but at a gas station pump where there is plenty of room nowadays.. Nice cars are like jerk magnets..

    In the middle of the quarter panel isn't that bad. If it were in the crease between the panel and the fender flare that would be a pain to fix. Two shops I recommend are Tuttles body shop on Jefferson church road or OAS custom classics on Reynolda road (highway 67).

    You will miss it, no matter what you think about buying a 550 - 650 it doesn’t matter… If you sell your SN95 You’ll be back in a New Edge again before you know it, hopefully it’s as nice as the one you have now… Probably not.. I’m on my 6th SN95 3rd New Edge, doesn’t matter what I tried to replace them with, it never did the trick.. They are irreplaceable just look at Dereck Barran on his 3rd time buying Blue 2v back..

  • @ItzVezz
    @ItzVezz6 күн бұрын

    100% Agree. I miss my New Edge so much. I've driven multiple stock S550s and a 2017 with almost every Steeda suspension part available. I would still take a New Edge every time. S550s are great cars and the 5.0 is a beastly engine but you cant beat the New Edge experience. ....... also a motor is $700 :)

  • @carsonchafin
    @carsonchafin6 күн бұрын

    Completely agree with this. I know a lot of people who have bought new edges back even after owning coyotes. I think my best option would be to add a coyote as well as keep the new edge. Mines in great shape that’s why I’d hate to part with it.

  • @user-bi4qy9ii8y

    i disagree, new edges are great and all but 4.6s are slow. coyotes are much more enjoyable.

  • @NewEdgeDesigns
    @NewEdgeDesigns6 күн бұрын

    @@user-bi4qy9ii8y I’m going to assume you never had a New Edge, 2v is a much more enjoyable street performer than a coyote.. maybe you’ve never heard it’s much more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow, although New Edges aren’t slow at all unless of course you don’t know how to drive it.. The only reason a New Edge is considered slow is because they are nice enough looking and sounding to stay in the modern muscle car conversation… They were actually quite fast when they came out, beating foxes easily and taking on the cobra of the previous generation.. It’s a fallacy spread by children that 2v are slow, it’s like the myth that 2Pac isn’t lyrical, a lie made up by haters…

    Nice!! I’m glad the antifoulers worked for you.. I didn’t even get to install my LAR x yet because my buddies lifts were full, but I’m looking forward to it.. I’m happy with just the rear cat delete still. The rear cat delete around 2800 rpm it makes this crazy crackle sound, I don’t know if it gets that with the catless x I didn’t hear your car do it, but you have to be throttling it in load at around 2600 to 3000 rpm’s, it sounds crazy.. I’ll upload a clip later.. Let me know if the catless pipe does it..

    Nicely done. I drove a black on black 2003 Mach 1 off of the lot in Dec of 2003. Drove it to shows, in parades and on 50 mile loops. Last year I sustained a bad injury in a cycling accident and came to the realization that we can’t take any of our toys with us when we go. At the time I had 5,300 miles on the Mach 1. I decided to sell my commuter car and press the Mach 1 into daily duty. Now, at just over 7,100 miles I could not be happier with the decision. They are such wonderful cars to enjoy on a daily basis.
