Very difficult to book a show in RC and finally gave up. Also the standard of the food is below standard i.e. bad unliked before.

Norwegian charged $150 administration fee in addition to cruise fee and deposit. Princess, Carnival, Holland America and Royal Caribbean do not charge administration fee.

It is actually a charter cruise by a travel agent. Service and food quality are degrading to bad. Not worth your money. Little entertainment. I finished 3 books. Not worh it... downgrade

We always love Norwegian .. for the fact they allow you to go dinner anytime .. not too much a wait usually .. And really we don’t want to sit with total stranger .. and those 6 or 830 set dinner time by Royal Caribbean … though I’m an extrovert .. could easily have great conversation with strangers .. but sometimes the assigned same table might simply not jiving with you … No buffet is a no go .. though we always prefer dining room .. but buffet has to be there as an option .. One thing very very annoying about Norwegian .. they probably have the smallest inside cabin of all cruise lines

NCL does have good entertainment options at night , which makes it a great experience if you can tolerate the (non) service 😂
Quality vs quantity. $100 per night vs $1000. One have to consider what you want. One likes to have a ship with 4k passengers and others ship only have 200. But all of the cheaper cruises are pretty reasonable for families esp the low middle income families. All good.
