Pretty solid for its size. Certainly not the comfort of a 21 footer though. Of course, speed and navigation abilities play a big part in your comfort level but I’ve have it out in some sketchy Okeechobee weather before and she’s up for the challenge any day, It can get rough but safety never a concern.

Actually was just thinking about doing a comprehensive 5 year review. Stay tuned. The boat has been flawless other than minor cosmetic issues. Replaced trailer bunks once but overall trailer has performed as it should, no major issues. Don’t believe all the negative comments you may hear. It’s an awesome rig and I have NO regrets. If anything wish I had more wallet so I could get a bigger one ☝️

@FillALimitFishing I hear ya. I been looking to buy a new boat, and I have been looking at the z18. I do tournament fish, so having a big enough livewell for myself and a co angler is a must. Do you think the livewell is big enough for 2 limits. I live in Florida as well, so I know these limits can be around 25-30 sometimes. I'm sure 30 gallons is enough, but I wanted someone's opinion. Thanks again.

@@JesseMcMillanFishing I’m in FL too. I weighted in 29 1/2 pounds last month on the Caloosahatchee River, all 5 alive. I did use both wells though, had 2 in one and 3 in the other. 20 pounds in each side no problem. 30 pounds in one side would be a little tight I think from experience but I’ve never tried.
@JesseMcMillanFishingАй бұрын
@FillALimitFishing yea, well that helps a little. I think even if you had 28-30 in one side for 1-2hrs I would assume they would be okay. All day from 7am idk.. but than again, if my co angler only had 1 or 2 small fish I could always throw my biggest on there side.. I look forward to watching your new review if you do one. Thanks alot.

Watched your video a few weeks back. I called Roy at Wacky Riggers and he suggested the Power-Pole Pro Series II for my needs. Transaction went flawlessly and items were received in short time. The installation went well, however, one of the pumps wasn't working. One pole would deploy but not retract. Spoke to Roy again who made a call to PP and they overnighted me a replacement pump because I was leaving for a two week trip to Florida in 2 days. Installed the replacement pump and it worked perfectly. Having the power poles on my boat made my trip more enjoyable in the shallow waters of Florida. My hat is off to Roy for being so kind and helpful.

That was for scientific research. I am one of the biologist who work on the project. It is one of several that are deployed at times in the Kissimmee river and in the lake. Inside the cages are samplers for growing algae for the study. Funnily enough, the cages are only used because the gators have a tendency to chomp on the samplers and the cages were a cheap solution. This particular one was in the lake and had broken loose of its anchor during a storm. We searched for it but had no luck finding it.

Put a trail cam on it from a distance and find out for sure who it is. We found one on my home waters that way, actually found a few that way. They had theirs under water and we caught the lines going to them is the only way we found em. We set up cameras on the several we found and the boys would come feed the fish in those boxes. They’d pull up with shad they’d been cast netting and throw em in by the big bait nets full and if the fish has been there a few days nothing to eat they’d blow those shad up dead or alive. The mesh was small enough the shad couldn’t get out so once in the bass could feed a couple times before the bait was gone. We took some shad when we were letting the fish go and leaving notes after busting them out at weigh ins and the fish in the cages, 4ftx4ftx4ft, would absolutely blow the bait up. They had caught fish from ponds, lake Guntersville, anywhere and everywhere and caged em up on Neely Henry and was smoking everybody on that body of water. We did just so happen to catch em out of the boat fishing a pond. They was walking back to the boat with rods in hand dragging fish on a metal stringer in the water metal stringer hooks through the top of the mouth on them bass. We stopped when we seen em, got hid and videoed their return. They had about 10 4 to 7 pounders and they went and dropped off some in said cages. We had already found 6 cages and had trail cam evidence turned into the tournament directors and the video taken that day was icing on the cake. We just happened on them at the right time on a community hole and they was dumb enough to be out of the boat that close to the ramp fishing a pond with that many folks in a tournament on that small a body of water. We spun a prop that morning is the only reason we was that close
