I think part of the misunderstanding is that we only see Arkham Batman in his worst hours. We don't see Batman patrolling Gotham on a normal evening; we don't see him stopping ordinary, petty crimes or saving innocent civilians. Each of the games (except maybe Origins, which I don't remember as well) takes place on a single night which are some of the worst nights of his life. That's why we don't see him saving as many ordinary individuals, why we don't see as much of his empathy, definitely why we don't see as much of his Bruce Wayne persona, and probably why we don't see as much of the Batfamily. Also, Tim Drake is treated horribly, but I don't blame Batman for that; I blame whoever on the creative who thought that haircut in Knight was a good idea.

My huge problem is being in the Wonder Woman subreddit and it’s filled with man hating feminists who love Wonder Woman looking like a strong man warrior when her whole character was to be strong yet beautiful and embracing female sexuality in her costumes

I've said it before and I'll say it again: THEY SHOULD'VE USED MARTHA. Martha Wayne's Joker is SEVERELY underutilized, and putting her in Thomas' place during King's run would've fixed the MAJORITY of the problems involved. Unlike Thomas, her doing all of this would've ABSOLUTELY been in character for her, seeing as she broke even further upon finding out Bruce would become Batman & ALREADY killed her own Alfred to begin with! She even crippled her version of Selina for trying to "replace" Bruce, so she would have FULL reason to go after their relationship here. Not to mention: we NEVER got to see Bruce's reaction to her! All of these times Thomas is brought back, and Martha being his Joker is RARELY brought up, and NEVER around Bruce. Literally EVERYTHING was ripe for a good, gut-wrenching story with Martha being there, all unused to character assassinate Thomas. DC, WHAT ARE YOU SMOKING!? I will say that the times Thomas was used AFTER Kings run were all surprisingly good, with the reborn Flashpoint timeline being GREAT, but the context behind it is so TRASH.

I feel that while Wonder Woman mithos and supporting cast needs a reboot, because let's ne honest some things did aged weird. People need to understand the core of what wonder woman is. If was up to me i would just remove the built in hatred for Man, the original history have for instance. Goods can make humans from clay, Hera and other goddess wanted to have soldires loyal to them and created superhumans in the form of the amazon much like Poseidon created the atlanteans to be his citzens. This very much cut down the incentive to have hacks project their revange fantasies on amazonian society.

Flashpoint Batman may be more aggressive and trigger happy than regular Batman, but I REFUSE to believe he would team up with one of Batman's enemies in order to make Bruce quit being Batman. Who's the fucking retard who thought he would be fine with Bane killing Alfred, ESPECIALLY after what happened to his Alfred?

Because they ruined the flashpoint batman. I now prefer the Earth 2 version of batman. He is also thomas wayne but he remains cool the whole time. It's the new 52 stuff.

1:31 that's why I will ALWAYS argue that animation is just the best form to tell superhero stories The animated flashpoint film is one of the best dc movies of all time. Like I just don't get how if Manga and Anime can do this, why can't Americans comics. And NO, you don't need to go back and do all the older stories but picking one of the best runs of the characters would give you some of the best animated TV and movies out there. Still waiting for a faithful darkest night/brightest day movie series Also an animated Marvel Civil War would be fun

Wonder Woman was created as a feminist icon and unfortunately will always get the problems on both sides of that issue. Either it’s girl power woke man hating bull crap or it’s objectifying and overly sexualizing women. You want to make her a good character? Remove the Amazons as a man hating group, change her outfit to be less objectifying, make her have a job like an ordinary person, and have her carry herself with grace and dignity like a princess would while also being strong and capable. That is what women should be. Strong and polished/graceful. Not crass, attention seeking, or sexualized.
