I have searched and searched for a solution to my seat heater button lights coming on then immediately turning off but every "solution" I find does not work on my truck. The wires that everyone shows disconnecting does not exist on my truck. At least in the locations these videos show. I have a 2018 Silverado 1500 LTZ Z71. Haven't been able to use my seat heaters since 2020.....

Check the connections. A lot of those connections have issues. Spray some electrical cleaner in there.

Once the motor turns over will the different colored links still match up with the dots on the sprockets ?

They won’t. The sprockets are different sizes. The only time you want them lined up are when you’re setting the timing off the crank.

Is this causing your vehicle to want to stop itself ? Mine doesn’t clunk when switching gears. I can move about a foot forward and a foot reversed and I get this clunk noise that makes my truck want to stop itself from rolling forward or backwards . Like something is binding up

Keep tension on the flywheel puller and tap the outside of the flywheel with a soft mallet. It will eventually come loose. They are a bear to get off the first time. Once you’ve had it off a couple of times, it comes off much easier.

His puller was inside out had the bolts pulling threw the curved slots . Put some pressure on it hit it with a hammer tighten the puller little by little after hitting with a hammer unless turning it is hard . Don’t draw back to Hawaii and hit it just hit it a little then try to tighteng the puller .

the earth wire that you just pushed back is going to rub through the spinning flywheel should of been tucked behind the stator and tied. DOH

2004 GMC Sierra 4 wheels drive your pinion nut is loose I took my driveshaft out and tighten back up with permatex orange no noise but what cause the pinion nut to come loos I think is a bad trans mount so much play and up and down movement of driveline loosening the pinion nut

CDI. I made the mistake of buying a cheap Chinese one off of Amazon. You need to either buy a new OE one(if you can find one), or a OE used one.

So my quad doesn’t even start, it cranks and cranks then backfires a bit. Fuel fills oil and need to change it. I’m thinking the cam lobes?

Possibly. Have you measured the cam lobes? Have you checked the timing? Have you checked the CDI box?

Link in the description. It is the correct one. If you look at it, it has the longer yellow wires that are needed to reach the regulator. The other ones that are listed have all the wires the same length and won’t work.

I am having a similar issue, installed a new carb. New fuel pump and filter. Ran great for a few days. Came out one morning and it started for a sec. Then backfired and now just turns over but won't start. Any ideas? I tried the idle screw and got no change.

Did you find the problem? I have the same issue but I think it’s the after market cdi that was put on there before I got it. I ordered a used one hopefully it is the problem.

I have a suggestion try opening the throttle cover an adjusting your throttle cable prob to much slack especially if you played with carb

Nope. It would not idle more than 10 seconds. It was like someone just turned the key off.

Having an issue on my Polaris Magnum 425 will not take full throttle after riding it for a few days I parked it, went to go fire it up will not start I have gas and Spark shot some starting fluid in the carb still will not fire up couple ignition pops that's about it Any ideas since yours is kind of doing the same thing?

That switch ur holding also could need to be grounded for the kill switch

Does it actually have to be grounded besides the ground wire going to the terminal board? Like being put back on the handle bar type ground?

Either fuel not gettin to motor or ur idle is to low turn the screw on the carb and raise the idle and check ur spark plug see if ur gettin gas

I believe it has enough fuel. You get it to run and crack to drain at the bottom of the bowl and fuel drains out while it’s running for a few seconds. To me that seems like enough fuel to keep running? I’m not 100% sure though.

@@JakeMMelvin Pull the carb off and check if the float moves freely. I have one with the exact same problem, I'd recommend turning the idle up. On the passenger side of the quad you can see the carb and there's a funny looking screw thing sticking out of the bottom of the carb. Turn it right to idle it up and left for lower
