Can I patch any DS game to make it appear sharper? If so then I will have some patching to do lol. Dused off my n3ds xl a few days ago. Can this also be achieved with DS port forwarder or do I have to launch games via Twilight menu all the time? Great video btw, liked and saved for later! The 3ds is the best thing ever. Edit: works great, though in some Pokémon titles the eyes of the characters disappear when running to the left and right :(

I got my current CRT out of a neighbors yard! I asked him if it worked & he said it had been their kitchen tv for years, but they had to replace it with an HDtv for a satellite installation or something. Either way, a win for me!

Initially I didn't see much use for this since everything is still trapped on Gen 3, but if this could be combined in s single docker container with ”rbobillot/gts-cloning-machine" this could have massive potential for an alternative to Gen 3 to 4 trades! They already run on different ports (8080, 8081/9000) as if a joint project was meant to be, and at that point it'd just take some effort to translate Gen 3 to GTS and vice-versa. All possible in theory but would take engineering effort for that translation

i feel like most of the best GBA and DS hack/modding is wasted on Pokemon. The popularity is undeniable, but the multiplayer time we'd see in stuff like Four Swords, Amazing Mirror, and Sonic Advance 3 would be a spectacle. Like Monster Hunter with 3ds emulation - always active

I had no idea about the Amassador program when it happened and I was so angry that Nintendo refused to let me BUY these GBA games. Several of them are my favorite games from not just the GBA but overall - Fire Emblem in particular. I already carried my 3DS everywhere I went and played it constantly. Adding GBA titles would have been amazing! I was obsessed with my 3DS. I owned several units and I'm not overstating that I carried it with me EVERYWHERE for Streetpass - still my favorite video game gimmick ever - my main 3DS profile followed me on several overseas flights to Japan - I even got every Japanese prefecture unlocked in Streetpass. I LOVED it and always wanted more! But in 2024 I don't really care anymore. I have an emulator on my phone and an 8BitDo controller. I would still prefer more GBA games on Switch. And I would rather buy them than use a subscription. But even still, with these options, there's no reason to go back to the 3DS. In 2024 after years of using modern phones and my OLED Switch, the 3DS screen looks like utter trash. It doesn't age well at all. The colors feel washed out, the max brightness is like 60% what I'm used to on a modern device... And I have like 7 3DS units, it's not one faulty device.

I was sick of playing Time Splitters with my son and him cheating by watching my side of the screen when we were playing 1-on-1 matches. So I bought a second PS2, iLink cable and a second copy of the game. I had a spare colour portable TV and I set us up sitting back-to-back in the living room and the little sh!t still beat me :-(

I will never understand why the US always got shafted by Nintendo for the rewards programs. US sales vs Europe has always been greater, it was so unfair. I would have killed for these types of rewards but no we got downloaded wallpapers.

If you go to 120 fps from 60.. Few notice the difference right away. After playing in 120 fps, however, 60 fps will look like crap. There is no going back..

For me, the scary thing about mods isn't about things being different, technically - but rather, it's that I'm not sure how to play them. I'm largely used to playing things on the actual systems, so I've never really understood how to set things up to play a rom. But I really hope I can figure out those technical issues someday - there are so many fascinating fan games I'm curious to explore, with even more after watching this video.

What i would to for a new Punch-out game. All fighters are womens AND the special one is Peach or Luigi (It's been a while he hasn't a game.) One of them could be Glass joe's wife, she will take revenge on Mac for defeating her husband and will try to win the belt for him. How cute 🥰I would love to see a female boxer from Romania or Africa; not sure they were in the Wii game. One from Texas who yodels and can make sheeps appears would be funny. As bonus you can create a character and choose her belts, hairstyle, skin tone and clothes as well as naming her. A mini-game where you cna choose any previous fighters and make them throw bombs at each other sounds fun!

So retroarch isn't a thing no more when it is you can play any game with friends must be the same rom name but online they got netplay so you can Battle anyone in the union room including your friends and family
