I adopted the alias of Boy, because if there’s something worth cherishing about our youth, it’s our perspective. Children see the world with curiosity and untouched optimism. They see life as something to be enjoyed moment by moment. They are completely honest about how they feel. They dream. And for the most part, they believe in themselves.
I keep this blog because it allows me to recall where I’ve been, shape the narrative of my life moving forward. And of course, connect with like-minded people like yourself.

HI and thanks for sharing. Elizabeth here. I was in your grief therapy class if I remember correctly. Hope you are doing well with your endeavours since ACAP. Your postt has just validated that seeing my recently discovered needs regarding my symptoms of overwhelm and issues focusing are related to my inner child traumas. Never really been referred to any one for inner child work, from years of seeing psychologists for Anxiety and major depression. I dropped out of acap counselling graduate diploma due to my symptoms, and regret that my struggles have not allowed me to finish my degree . Hooefully i will return to the studies i am very interested. When I hear you talk I start to like myself more. Thank you for sharing and Once again all the best to you Ricki.

❤️ I also hate winter! I resonate with having aspects of life that you cannot get back. I am loving being 36. It can get better and better within for some of us. Not all, and that's okay too. That's why we need each other to lean on through the changing nature of it all.

One of the challenges with this form of self expression just like my KZread channel, is often of the time we dont mostly get to see the significance, thoughts and feelings that the person who comes across our work may experience.

I think its very unique way of expressing creativity, which is what an art gallery is about, but this is something that is unique in its own way.

One door closes another one opens. Its like deleting unnecessary/old data on on phones/PC ect, to make space for the new data. We have hopefully learnt and experienced what was needed from the old ''data/story'' it has served its purpose, and is now time for a new experience/data/story.
If I'd quit my job, I could faster write my book.
