Zyppah works like a champ for me. I recently used it on a mission trip with my church. The 5 other guys in my bunk room called it the miracle worker. They were able to compare with and without because one night I feel asleep before I put it in and they bright lighted me in the eyes and made me put it in. For full disclosure I have had mine for over a year, but I only wear it when I am in a room with other people besides my wife, so that is only a few church trips per year. Because of that I find I have to re-acclimate to wearing it each time and it is difficult to “want to” wear it each night. But for the sake of my friendships I do it and it works flawlessly.

Hey there everyone! The ZYPPAH IS NOT FOR OSA (sleep apnea) And it is not advertised to treat this either. As a matter of fact it is in our guidelines and our handbook given with every device that if you have OSA or TMJ or any breathing disorders of any kind you should NOT be using our product.

Zyppah Why isn’t it suitable for OSA sufferers whose cause of OSA is tongue collapse rather than soft palate collapse or being obese? Isn’t that what the tongue strap is for? Are you saying don’t use it because it’s inneffective at holding the tongue forward or because you don’t wanna be held liable by the vast majority of OSA sufferers who (unlike me) have apneas caused by being overweight and who obviously wouldn’t find the device effective

How far forward are you supposed to push your lower jaw during the molding process?

I have OSA and I snore. I can’t imagine why when wearing my mask, I couldn’t wear this too? I’ll give it a shot and thanks for the review!

You can wear it and the cpap mask. I too, have OSA and I found out on the first few days with my cpap that my mouth would dry out. I (on my own) began using a mouth piece made for a 5 minute teeth whitening product from the dollar store because it was apparent that I needed to keep my mouth closed while sleeping; this was my solution. The only down side for me, is having to replace the mouthpiece when I bite through it. Other than that it works great.

Sleep Judge. I would love to exchange my sleep machine for an appliance. What piece or system holds the most promise so far?

For me, it cuts down the snoring but I feel like the design is too aggressive and makes difficult to fall asleep. Might take some getting used to.

I would like to ask YOU if person who has a bridge can take the impression?

Good review, although there is no mention on what position should you sleep in (side, back, stomach) and if it makes a difference at all. Also, how hard do you bite when making the impression on the device? I think these are critical points, but hey, that's just me.

Dr. Greenberg screwed up by hiring the wrong ad agency. Annoying the hell out of your customers was an idea that went out the window decades ago. Successful ads catch your attention for the right reasons.

You cannot mess with the biomechanics of the TMJ joints for 1/3 of your life (sleeping hours) and not come down with one hell of a case of TMJ Syndrome, which can be a brutal condition. AVOID.

This snoring device is the only one that works for me, the band is really effective at keeping the tongue from falling down in the back of the throat, I think that is what makes the difference. No more embarrassing loud snoring.

Do you keep your tongue on top of the strap or bottom of it ?

I really think it’s a great product I use it myself the only issue I have with it is that the bottom front teeth tend to tingle after a while.

I have my Zyppah and as soon as I put the Zyppah device i start having saliva it water my mouth to the point i can’t hold it and immediately have to spit it out I don’t know what to do I want it to work on me.

That's normal for the first several times. It happened to me, but it went away after a week.

The tongue is supposed to rest with its tip on the hard palate right behind your front teeth, so this seems like a bad idea to me. You should probably just work on tongue, jaw, and throat strengthening exercises instead.

we need to know something we just bought this product and the lady said it only lasts 4 to 8 months she said we should to buy it too

When cared for properly, your Zyppah should last four to six months. Average durability is 12-24 months with six being a minimum, so I definitely think there’s work to be done in making this product last longer. The tongue strap is awesome in that it addresses tongue-related snoring more directly, but it becomes loosened due to the constant pressure applied. You may want to experiment to see if you can stop your snoring without a focus on tongue stabilization before you buy.

Did you actually watch the video? She said the device worked for her partner except for the time it briefly fell out of his mouth.

Zyppah has horrible customer service! We had to return the item since it did not fit properly. According to our tracking information company received the piece 1 week ago, but have received no confirmation from them, no refund and no reply to our emails.
