Riding it and doing tricks is one thing... getting there ... whole different story

I lived in Hossegor in the 90s. I ran into a few guys from Zarautz. That coast has amazing surf all the way to Santander. Huge cold surf. Most of it is hard to get to. It keeps the good spots empty except for those who know where and when.

Great waves, great surfing and great eats. There's a lot there packed into a couple of minutes.

Hey guys I'm building a prototype board In performance shortboard form and in high volume guns as well for conditions like this. In the short board I am creating divots on the top of the board near the rail down from the nose where you place your thumbs when you duck dive to allow for better force and control for execution. But that's not the prototype part. I am embedding two small water jets that will be battery-operated and controlled somewhere along the rail with an embedded pressure button or trigger system in order to engage it so that when you're in conditions in which you are struggling to get out into the lineup or about to be caught inside because you can't get up the face on waves like this you'll be able to hit those sensors and engage those jets and help propel you up the face. All it needs to be able to do is generate an extra five miles an hour for the board itself for it to be worthwhile. As I said it will also be able to be used in conditions in which it might be difficult to get out because occurrence or because of the swell. It will help you conserve energy where you would normally struggle for 20 or 30 minutes to get out. I love to know what you guys think of that.

Yes this break though not a mirror image does have a lot of similarities to Jaws. It also has some similarities to Mavericks as well
