My husband is 67 now and surfed 55ft but never this big!! He caught North Bird rock 1975 The Monster from New Zealand! Hes a stud!

Tahiti Teahupo'o, France Belharra reef, Maui Jaws, Oahu Pipeline. Some sound board work in the vid!! Biggest Iv done is The Right, I used my wetsuit as a poo sieve when ever we go. All the best from Western Australia!!

still hard to believe people even attempt to ride it at that size. SCARY. (the teahupoo section). Challenge Accepted! - that's gotta be the motta inside these guys. That's the group we found. I've been surfing for a long time, and I don't ever want to get near that stuff. That's the hard stuff. Better to stay with the mild stuff. Would be interesting to do a poll, and see how many big wave surfers are also freedivers I kinda think watching teahupoo - surfer or not on the wave - is better than surfing it (I wouldn't oc) @3:42 - he's got it wired. Almost looks like have to feel like you're diving forward the whole time - like going over the ledge or something - if you're backside. Just craziness. surfing's gone neural
