Hi, I am a Zulu and let me correct you, the Zulu kingdom did not begin from King Shake the Kingdom came began from King Zulu KaNtomela who we believe was the founder of the Zulu Kingdom. The Zulu kingdom was not powerful at that time because of the three powerful kingdoms which were the Ndwandwe, Mthethwa and the Ngwane, there were seven Kings before King Shaka, therefore, King Shaka is well known because of bravery and smart mind when it comes to Battles. He strengthened the Zulu kingdom and made it powerful then other kingdoms. so next time do your research properly and I don't blame you the Nguni people did not use literature when it comes on passing information to the younger generation, I got this information from my grandma. my grandma is from the Zulu kingdom and I'm from the Mthetwa Kingdom, peace...

@@UsefulCharts to do this you would definitely have to start at Adam and Eve and you can even tie in haplogroups. Africans have to oldest haplogroups that are the closest to the first man and woman (beginning of creation). They are of L0, L1, L2, L3 etc. These are the maternal haplogroups. HeLa (Henrietta Lacks is of L3). Every other haplogroup is a mutation of these first lines. They have archeological evidence to support this. Also, some Asian groups (Chinese to be specific) have traced their DNA back to a common African ancestor so that would be something to add. I honestly feel it should be the most extensive tree to map. It would be interesting to see it.

Shaka born c. 1787, was the illegitimate child of Senzangakona, chief of the Zulu tribe and Nandi of the E- Langeni tribe. Nandi's mother, Mfunda (daughter of Kondlo, the Qwabe chief ) was of the Qwabe tribe. Due to a kinship taboo the Zulus could not marry people of the Qwabe descent, thus Shaka was doubly dishonoured. Eventually after much hardship he found sanctuary with the Mtetwa tribe under their chief Jobe. Jobe was followed by his son Dingiswayo as chief of the Mtetwas. When Sensangakona died in 1816 Shaka's halfbrother, Sigujana assumed the chieftainship of the Zulus , but with the help of Dingiswayo, Shaka ousted him and became chief himself.

This made amabutho believe they gathering information for an attack. You can imagine the paranoia of the time. I hope the Zulus are learning...the Zulu kingdom started by Shaka with the help of the MTHETHWA Paramoncy after he conquered small tribes around the region. Before Shaka there were different clans with their chiefs including the Zulu tribe with its chiefs starting from Phunga and Mageba up to chief Senzangakhona. Shaka Zulu consolidated all these tribes and the ZULU KINGDOM was born.

How do you not understand that? I have seen that there is compliants of some inaccuracies. If that is the case, that's to bad, but im sure it's unintentional. The European history goes back millennia so mistakes are made just from the sheer time span. Mistakes happen. So much disrespect given to a channel for what I'm sure took time and effort to get together.

Also, Prince Mcwayizeni was a regent from 1968 to 1971, then King Zwelithini took over just recently (2021) when he also bowed out after almost 50 years in the throne. King Senzangakho has never been a Swazi Chief as per label on the chart.

Our People need to know about the Nguni People. The primary Kingdom then was the Ndwandes / Nxumalos followed by the Chiefdoms: Malandela, Mthethwa / Dingiswayo/ Nyambose, Mncwango, etc After Malandela, the rightful heir to the throne was supposed to have been his eldest son Qwabe the elder brother to Zulu. How Zulu tricked his elder brother ( a topic for another day). Fast forward, the Mthethwas helped uShaka to defeat the children of Senzangakhona and became the chief. Shaka wanted more & that's when he fought everyone including the Ndwandes and formed the Zulu kingdom. Named his subjects after his surname. Named their language after his surname. It is now that Qwabe wants his position back & not only that but there will be a rebirth to all the original Kingdoms and Chiefdoms - watch the space

Definition of kingdom: a country, state, or territory ruled by a king or queen. What is a king or queen:the male/female ruler of an independent state, especially one who inherits the position by right of birth. What is a chief: a leader or ruler of a people or clan.Technically he is correct by saying the AmaZulu kingdom was established by King Sigidi "Shaka" KaSenzangakhona.During Shaka early years the was only two AmaNguni kings in "Zululand",which was King Dingiswayo Mthethwa and King Zwide Nxumalo.King Shaka turned an insignificant Zulu clan of 10,000 subjects under Chief Senzangakhona kaJama into a 1 million AmaZulu nation, thus a kingdom by amalgamating the Nxumalo and Mthethwa nations and other weak clans. The narrator didnt mention the role that was played by King Shaka's aunt Princess Mkabayi kaJama, the most powerful woman in the Amazulu history from the reign of his father until the reign of King Dingane.King Mpande banished her from the AmaZulu enclave, suspecting her of planning to kill him.King Cetshwayo was the heir apparent because of being the 1st born son,he killed his half-brother Mbuyazi and his 20,000 followers including 13 of his siblings for leaving the enclave.
