How long does fuel last, I heard it can last for months but I have my doubts, is it as good as people claim?

Right now, I am at two months and still going strong - I am not a smoker so I don't use it very often. I like to collect these and I also use them for some practical stuff when needed. That's why I ordered the 912 because I wasn't satisfied with the lack of gas seal on the Zippo. This lighter has become my daily and it's really impressive how long it lats. BTW: I also have immediately switched to cotton bacon and even sealed the bottom with a lunchbag which I learned from Zippo Fanatic 77, that may have also some effect on it's longevity as the cotton bacon can soak way more than standard cotton from Zippo or Zorro. @@BloPsy__ I wanna know how airtight this lighter truly is, try leaving it overnight in a bucket of water and see if the inside is dry.

@@weaponized_saltiness So I have conducted the test and little bit of water got inside. Perhaps a bit thicker o-ring would solve that and it would be even better. The potential is there. But as I said, my Zippo never lasted more than week or two without usage. This thing was going for almost two months already, which was really impressive.

@@4lexissosa983 I do neither, but I have a good track record with AliExpress. When my order came broken or was a different color or bad quality, they always refunded me immediately, which I do respect a lot.

Does that Zorro 912 have O-ring seal to lessen fluid evaporation ?

Does the Zorro insert fit the Zippo and vice versa?

The Zorro insert is slightly thicker, so it's a really snug fit in the Zippo, which means that the Zippo insert is a bit loose in the Zorro, which is something a bit of a tape around the insert couldn't solve. I wouldn't use the Zippo inserts in the Zorro tho, as they are not actually made of brass like with the Zorro, which means you can't scratch them like with Zippo. Damn, I almost lost myself just writing it :D

Thanks man! I'm mostly interested whether Zorro 912 and 902 inserts are interchangeable, and since the 902 should be the same as Zippo what you wrote should apply to the 912 vs 902 as well. Too bad they are not exactly the same size..

@@BloPsy__ there is a zorro insert that comes with a brass “cap” with an oring for bottom of the insert that’s removable . Saw that on zippo fanatic and was thinking switching it over to the 912 would make one long lasting lighter.

Zorro is better in every way...but it's not a Zippo. Function or fashion?

Yes, and the seal seems so aesthetic to me that that's why I can't decide whether to buy a zippo or a fox. aesthetics or functionality

ерунду говоришь.метал лучше чем зиппо.сам сплав.зиппо за неделю патиной покрылся а зорро 2 месяца сверкает как новый.по ходу он потемнеет только если на полке будет стоять,в руках нет.
