Is there a setting on the Zoom G5 so that when you change from one patch that is using delay, to another patch, that the delay repeats persist even though you have gone to a different patch, which may or may not have delay?

Compared to the original G5, I like the fact that apparently the G5n looper records the rhythm track, rather than simply running along side it. With the G5, I often end a performance by fading my amp out using the volume knob, because stopping the loop does not stop the rhythm track, but stopping the rhythm track leaves the loop running without one.

hi bro, that was great playing man... I have a question though. I understand that the G5n does not have a XLR direct out like the G5. So if I want to connect the G5n to a mixer, do I need to hook it up into a passive D.I Box and then from there into the mixer or can I go straight into the mixer? If I choose to use a D.I Box will it affect the tone by colouring it?

Lets say we have an fx chain like tube scr Amp cab chorus delay reverb. Can i assign effects to switches like drive, chorus, delay, reverb?

cant believe you tested the product without putting the MIC on parameter in the Cabs block … that's why it sounded like that .. disappointing ..

Hi, I am not german, so a question: did You record this demo using a true ampli or using an audio interface to pc? And more, was the "Amp" "Cab" and "Mic" options on the Zoom "On" or "Off"? Thanks.

Deine Abo zahlen verstehe ich nicht! Du hast einen Top Sound, der bei mir aus den Boxen kommt, machst einen guten erklärbär für alle und kommst auf den Punkt. Sounds really muffled compared to the G5. Maybe it's not setup correctly.

If it is recorded into an audio interface to pc, cabinet and mic are, if memory helps, all "Off" by default. This is to use immediately the Zoom into a proper ampli. The bad thing is that, if You link to a pc or a mixer, You have to switch "On" ampli, cab and mic one by one on the presets. I hope a new firmware fix this, I like a lot this Zoom.....

Bums me out.

Das klingt super scheisse, und das letzte offizielle Patch Release ist 1 Jahr alt... Vielleicht für denjenigen der in einer Kneipe den Alleinunterhalter macht ganz nice, aber selbst fürs Schlafzimmer taugt mir das Teil nicht sonderlich.. Zu nem Gig würd ich das Teil niemals mitnehmen.. Ich werde noch weiter schauen was die Patches so hergeben, ansonsten werde ich es direkt wieder verkaufen. Eigentlich habe ich die Einstellung bei allem kommt es drauf an wie man es handlen kann aber das Zoom G5n ist für mich bisher ne ziemliche Enttäuschung! Die Amp Simulationen gefallen mir nicht, ein paar wenige Modulationseffekte sind recht nice, die Wah Pedale sind absolut keine Konkurrenz zu meinem CryBaby und auch die Pitch Shifter klingen derbst kaputt, kein Vergleich zu meinem Digitech Whammy.. Dann wohl doch lieber mehr Geld ausgeben und einzelne Pedale kaufen (Ich dachte ich könnte hier meine ganzen Bodentreter ersetzen, leider weit gefehlt)

Hi xzesstence, danke für deinen ausführlichen Kommentar, sicherlich spielt hier auch das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis eine wesentliche Rolle. Man erhält mit dem Zoom G5n eine große Palette an Sounds und Funktionen und das zu einem fairen Preis...! Cheers Mario

Merhaba, Not everyone has to listen to English either. There are some people who like to speak their OWN language and others who like to listen to reviews in their own language. There are 10 times more English tutorials then German or Thai, or whatever. Just look for them and don't condemn those who don't want to/or can't speak English. Hay algo para todos. Los videos mas detallada encuentro de las paginas de Thailandia, China, Brazil. Ellos ofrecen reseñas muy buenas, even if you can't understand.

I agree. BUT, there is a reason he chose to speak to a particular language group. Maybe people from his country have complained that there is too much stuff in English. I don't know. I speak in English and Spanish, with a dabble of Turkish depending on my interest, mood and audience. So, enjoy, live and learn.

Da fehlt es an jede Menge guter Sounds! No, das ist nicht Bühnentauglich. Selbst ein HB DNAfx für die Hälfte des Preises ist da schon wesentlich besser! Zoom geht leider immmer der letzte Kick! 😎👍🏼😘
