I will have to see if it makes sense to buy. The Zoom UAC-232 audio interface is brand new 32but float to PC with XLR, 1/4", midi ports looks very interesting

Thank you for this. Is there a way to get line out from the F3 with a 3.5mm TRS to Apple lightning adapter into the iPhone?

There is a way but you need to have an apple certified adapter to 3.5mm than simply use a Trrs to TRS cable like any wireless microphone system cable labeled as "smartphone". For example you would see that cable on my review of the comica boom-X D2 or the pro version. Many of the affordable of the mic systems I have reviewed have the cable... The TRRS side goes to the iphone 3.5mm adapter side

Does audacity accept float recordings?

From the memory card yes it does. From the device being set to 32bit float as an interface, no. I believe I mention that situation in one of my piles of videos where I speak about the Zoom F3 either in hot tips part 3 video or the round out of the zoom F3, Scarlett 2i2 and Vocaster Two audio interfaces video... Thank you for the question, it works as an answer to other viewers questions.

Not that I know of... That's what the internal recording of the Zoom F3 does anyways. Remember 32bit float won't improve audio that is recorded a near proper levels, that's hype. If boosting over 30Db than yes it'll stop audio hiss. There is an android and Iphone APP that allows you to store your footage to an SSD and it costs money and it might allow you to record in 32bit float. There's a guy I talk to on here that would like me to come down and work on a movie with him one day that uses his phone with that APP. If you don't mind spending money I can look it up.

@@israelhernandez764 I don't have time at the moment to check since I literally have so many videos to record and edit it'll take me a month to get through but most of all if you have the Zoom F3 yourself? Did you try the free Zoom F3 control APP to see what options to here are? I see there are some updates for the APP. I still have the Bluetooth receiver to test, it just might take me a bit to get to.

@sparkestudio to be clear, I want to record audio using a 32bit recorder and be able to bring that 32 bit recording into my phone and edit it. I don't have them yet. I want to purchase them but I first want to know if it's possible. Can the latest phones use the 32 bit file to the fullest with an app or is it just turned to 24 bit once imported into thw phone? What app is there that can normalize 32 bit video if any? I'm looking everywhere but I can seem to find an answer
