Respect to you, Brad. You talk about the things that are essential to us. None of these ego talks. You are very humble and I respect that about you. Our childhood really brings the best of us sometimes and it shows how much introspection you have done within yourself. Respect.

He’s an idiot he’s no scientist. This pandemic was new to everyone let the scientists and doctors and health professionals take care of this. Do you hire a personal trainer and try to disagree with that trainer and teach them what to do instead??? Food is essential a gym is not essential! You can work out outside or at home. When was the last time someone died directly from not going to the gym? 🤣🤣 bunch of idiots that’s for sure!

Socratic Method. People in politics generally become frustrated when challenged and choose to silence certain discussion that “goes against the agenda” rather than have a civil discussion that gets to the facts. Conversation that is rational, reasonable, and makes you question and ponder every perspective of the situation. If people conversed more we would solve and get to actual issues going on in society but it is “too complex” for them to take the time. I salute Bradley for speaking out!

The biggest problem overall is it wasn’t fully governed federally so you have state jurisdictions that aren’t always based but for political powers to benefit which is completely fucked. I’m glad the case got dismissed but you should go back and sue the state or even find a way to have a class action lawsuit because the amount of people without the means got completely fucked over and the state needs to be held accountable

Brad, me and my dad own a martial arts school in California. We had to go to online live classes and lost 80% of our students following rules. I worked for free for many months trying to just keep it a float. Totally feel for you man and love how you are challenging it and still talking about it. They handled the situation terribly made me lose hope for California (not that it was the only state or not) and really value a place like Florida. Shit was fucked. We opened back up early making a decision we were essential for the kids and not only that but for ourselves livelihood. We are almost double the students now then we before the pandemic happened and are blessed. But I can’t imagine the mom and pop shops that truly believed our governor (newsome) was making decisions for our best interest and getting the fucked the way they did and not being able to reopen after. It’s truly sad and discouraging being a citizen of California. That it took a super bowl where masks weren’t mandated in the strictest city damn near and the hypocrisy in that only because it made them millions blows my mind not alone many other baffling decisions why we as people can’t actually hold them accountable for their actions. They were just playing with people’s livelihoods and careers and could care less only if it gave them a check. But not to get too political, bottom line is it’s sad. Love you brad, love the pod. You are a great person you have a lot to hold your head really high about.

Seeing your workout videos for the first time a year ago is what got me into working out and changing my life around. I was a early drug addict starting sophomore year in high school. I abused Xanax, cocaine, molly, and Alcohol. I started having seizures from the Xanax withdrawals but that still wasn’t enough for me to quit the drugs. I destroyed my body bc I kept pushing my self. I’ve had like 20+ seizures since then and I’m now a sophomore in college. I finally quit and went sober but my mental health went down even more because I went from partying every weekend to not being able to go out anymore and not doing what I had fun doing. That’s when I started hitting the gym, and it made me feel good about myself, it made me happy, it created structure in my life, and was the base I needed for me to realize I could do anything I put my mind to if I’m actively trying working towards it. Consistency is the key for working out but also for anything you want. I started trying harder in school, and got accepted into University of Hawaii, moving their in June. I’m majoring in psychology and I want to help people like me, stop people from making those life changing mistakes. I’m stuck with seizures for the rest of my life because I was unaware of all the consequences of my actions. The gym really turned my life around, and I know it can help so many people no matter what your going through.

Bradley is such a g for keeping his gym open. I’m a college freshman and I’m writing a research paper on physical activity and nutrition and how the pandemic subsided these things and made them irrelevant during these times. Why are we not allowed to do these things when the main goal through the pandemic was to stay “healthy”?

I stopped going to the gym when the pandemic started… just going back now finally but I’m 30lbs heavier w/ high blood pressure which I never had prior. Covid was serious and I had a couple of friends meet their untimely demise… but the secondary impact was significant and will be felt for years. This was completely mismanaged from the start, even more so in a few states. Hopefully these states and the gov in general learns from these mistakes going forward.

You are not only a legend but an important piece to the gym community. Mental health is one of the biggest killers within not only the United States but the world and by forcing people to shut down their gyms it gave less people the opportunity in a safe environment where they felt like they could release stress or whatever because that's what the gym is to a lot of people. At least that's what the gym is for me so I appreciate you for standing up for what is right and allowing people to utilize your facility while you get bombarded by the "higher" authorities. You are an inspiration to not only me but countless others and I think that a lot of people were able to see how much the gym can help them when everything else in the world is going to shit. love that you challenged the system and won. You could have easily said it's easier to just close down, and not deal with all what you had to go through, but I'm so glad you did, and hope whoever was in court on the other side felt and looked stupid in the end.
