Since you are covering beginner keyboards, could you make a series on the plastic keyboards around 90-120$? Most of them are from China and you could focus on if they are usable as a custom keyboard. Ie. if they are easy to disassable and change foams, reliability of the software, testing everything normal user would do, etc. There is quite the interest in this price point and it's so hard to find info about them in English. As example - FL Esports CMK75, Gopolar GG75, Langtu LT84, Infiverse INFI75, or more from r/BudgetKeebs.

i like the fast pace; im mostly interested in sound profiles, the software for layout and lighting (eg VIA/QMK/custom), esp in the budget range. basically stuff you cant tell from a spec sheet is useful i think

Hi, I have been in your channel for a while now watching your videos about keebs, I just want to ask if I should wait for Monsgeek M1W International Version or get the M1W Chinese Version(which is available in the market already) or should I to Zuoya LMK81? I really appreciate if you could help me. Thank you and have more subscribers.

Ngl I think it depends on the board as some boards have a naturally deeper sound than others but personally I prefer lighter sounding clackier and marbly sounds but it is all personal preference.

IMO the price is too high, especially not including the caps they used for display which really sell the aesthetic of them, and even more so considering the QMK boards are wired-only with no RGB, when we already have boards out at half the cost, complete with caps and switches, AND RGB + QMK/VIA + Tri-Mode Wireless... I can't imagine what their excuse is for only offering such outdated and simplistic PCBs...

Do keeb tubers record their audio kb tests with edited audio or auto normalized/filtered/noise cancelled audio? Because if it is not 100% raw, then what is the point in that - it becomes ASMR theatre at that stage.

@@LewisToh Ok that's cool. But does your microphone allow for raw sound or does it have some nice audio realtime processing in there like the noise cancelling or normalization etc? Perhaps your Dynamic one does? I know for a fact that my cheap Moto mobile has Noise Cancelling that I am simply not allowed to disable and it makes Sound Analyzer usage impossible, unlike my old OnePlus 5 which had no noise cancelling and the Sound Analyzer showed me FFTransforms for any sound I wanted to sample.

@@LewisToh Also, see a video entitled: "This is why keyboard sound tests are worthless." from "Maker Mods". These are pretty much entertainment value or "ASMR Theatre" as I said. All these YTers saying "Ooh, this is so Creamy". Yes, your Rode mic is making that creamy cream lol

8.5/10? overrated imo the keyboard is not that easy to install and providing all the tools to install the keyboard is a must nowadays (i mean just look at meletrix and qwertykeys bruh) would say that despite it sounded good but the keyboard is kinda ugly with the corner screws visible when you use it to type everyday - also what is the LED light beside the knob for? is there any additional purpose? do they have their own keyboard software? etc EDIT: understand that they sponsored you to review the keyboard but dont need to promote the keyboard like its so good... would say that the review kinda biased

They have their own software thats pretty decent. The light next to the knob is the caps lock light indicator by default. Its pretty easy to install from experience
