I think zombies speedrunning leaderboards should allow glitches, but also offer a seperate leaderboard for each map that's no glitches

@@quack89 “technically” they do and it’s called any % speedrun. Meaning the use of specific gums that usually aren’t allowed in regular runs are allowed but I think that they can include something like that to allow spliced runs

What's even the point in having leaderboards if everything is allowed all the time...?

as someone who enjoys speedruns, both glitch and glitchless categories, it's genuinely shocking how few categories there are for zombies easter egg speedruns, especially for bo3. when I last checked, there's only 3 categories, no gobblegums, classics, or megas. They should have a handful of more categories just to keep things a bit more fair for people who want to speedrun without using glitches, vice versa. But that's just my opinion lmao.

The issue with splitting speedrun categories into even more categories though is that each time you make a split, you greatly reduce player numbers in that category. And that's not necessarily good if it causes the player count to fall too drastically. Nobody will speedrun a category where there is no competition.

Glitches should absolutely be allowed. A category for glitchless should then be made. Some games I personally think are boring to watch or run glitchless speedruns of, but zombies is fun both ways.

We did a speed run on firebase z after we submitted our run we got 5th I think currently 8th we all agreed we would never do it again, hats off to the guys that do it all the time it’s stressful

On cold war I tried so hard for a world record. The best I could do was 38mins on die maschine. Usually I take roughly a hour or back on BO3 and BO4 it would take me up to two hours solo to beat the Easter egg.

Speedrunning leaderboards should always have different categories, some for glitches allowed (any%, glitch-less) and some for no intentional glitches (no glitches)

Not really we can use bo3 as an example if you go on console derisen has only 3% players playing which isn’t much.that’s why if you leave the game and come back you’ll be out in the same lobby every time .Even pc has its limit in players not many are playing

Not a popular opinion but if you can’t pause during 2-4p high round WRs on Xbox then pc shouldn’t be allowed to either. If not then split up the records based on platform. It’s bs us console players have to play 8-16hrs straight for records fighting to stay awake and these pc guys can leave and join whenever they want.
