There's a lot of great gold prospecting channels, but I really think this is my favourite. It doesn't really matter how much gold you find, more is better of course, but what really matters is that you're always happy and enthusiastic. A lot of people fake that for the sake of the video, but you just seem like a genuinely excited and happy person. Someone we'd all like to go on a little adventure with, and that's what we get from your videos. I just hope you're getting as much enjoyment from making them, as we get from watching. It also helps you're a smart guy. You're always testing new equipment and new areas, and questioning your methods.

I like the opening shots, very good camera angles. You don't need to be on the best gold deposit in the state, you will earn subscriptions doing exactly what you do. Step 1) Get a cool dog 👍, Step 2) enjoy yourself 👍, Step 3) Enjoy a cold PBR at the end of the day 🍺🍺 👍. Everything else is a bonus. You run the best channel on KZread and I appreciate that. I always find entertainment in your videos and at the end o f the day, that is why I tune in. The amount of gold you find in WI and MI amazes me, I know you are werking your A$$ of to get it. I sometimes have had to have a little catnap on the way home or i wouldn't have made it back in one piece ,😂 It's called getting old . Looked like you hit a good spot there , nice effort . @@FlourgoldWizards I have been using the dream mat for a few years now and I have tested it extensively. I have 3 different sizes and I have used all of them on fine gold and course gold. Mine are 36 inches long and have lots of pockets. The best way to clean them is to remove it and roll it upside down in you bucket with a little water in the bottom. One roll and she is clean! Very little concentrates from those mats so panning is quick and easy! I do not use any other mat or ruffle system any longer as I don't see a need for it. If you are going to use one in your sluice get the next size up from that one. I think it has 1/4" pockets. And don't glue it in. I use a ramp with a hook to hold mine in place and she catches every tiny bit! Good luck to ya and thanks for making these videos! Keep the dream alive my friend!

I will say if it is a meteorite at that size is worth more than all the gold you'll ever find in two lifetimes. At least take some pictures and send them to the Smithsonian. It could contain a fortune in very rare metals like platinum and palladium. The most pure form possible. I hope you investigate it further.

Agreed, maybe I’ll let my daughters bring it somewhere and if it’s real they can have it !

From my experience watching gold recovery videos, the sluices should have a brush run through them after the water is started to remove all bubbles from the matts and recovery system. Even the large operations in the Klondike do this with push brooms on their systems, otherwise, gold can be lost. Search for DanHurdProspecting videos for information to better sluicing. looks great. ordered my hip boots wanted 14 stout but there just sold out everywhere for i went with 15 med and hoped they fit . some stole my buckets and shove. guessing my ex roommate. so monday going to make a trip to fleet and i should be all set up. not impressed with the mats that came with the folding sluth i bought so i might need to make some silicone ones. might have to do some shopping. lucky there's a fleet farm close to me. thanks for the share and stay awesome!

If you live in a place where you can find gold, you should absolutely get a pan and a snuffer bottle and make it a hobby. You won't get rich but you'll have a ton of fun. And there is always that chance you find a little pocket. My best day panning was about 1.5 grams and that was exceptional.

Definitely a great place, congratulations Jason. Have you tried a magnetic riffle? It combs the very fine gold that won't settle out of the flow. Try a line of magnets underneath your box about a third of the way down. You might need to adjust them, to not get too thick.

New subscriber. I like how laid back you are knowing you are working your ass off. Enjoy the hard days as much as the easy days. Think I just might learn something here. I'm almost positive I saw this from Dan Hurd, but once you get the water flowing over the sluice, you can take a toothbrush and go over the riffles to get rid of air bubbles.
