A tip is to wait with the blood paint until the end after applying varnish. That way one keeps the gloss effect which would dissapear, specially is using matt or satin varnish.

I use a fixative over mine. Varnishes can turn yellowish over the years. Plus you can also then use a straight gloss over your blood areas if you like. That's the great thing about a fixative.

Thanks for the demonstration. I've never given much thought to speed painting models but now I'm thinking I'll pick up the new zombicide and the paint set and give it a go.

Great results for a speed paint. End result really pops.

Not sure if that's a "You can't beat Zombies!" Because they are super fun and enjoyable to paint. Or, "You can't....beat....Zombies" because they are coming for braaaaaainzzzzz.....

I can't wait for Painting set for Zombicide: Undead or Alive; I want to paint Her Majesty, the Cactus Queen with only the best of the best paints!

Waiting on my Zombie Core Paint Set to come in real soon now.

My concern with batch painting using a limited color palette was always that even though they would be different models, I feel like they would all look the same since you used the same color. I really looked at the details on the group photo near the end and I'm wrong. The biggest detractor is the random blood spatter but even then, they still look different enough and I would be ecstatic to have them on my table. Thanks for the great video!

Dont forget to mix your colors that way you can get some good shades and more options.

I mean. In the case of Zombicide i plan my 2nd edition right now. Im gonna go through the zombies and group them for material sakes. After that devide the big hrouos into small ones to get some different colour schemes onto same minis. So im gonna end with 4 palettes. Maybe 5. And thats my plan atleast. Need the right paints to start tho.

what color spray primer did you use?

Great video, a question: Why did you use crusted sore and not glistening blood on these? Should you apply the blood before the wash?

If you want fresh blood on their hands, do it after the wash. Don't be afraid to experiment. To much fresh blood on every zombie can be overkill though. Then again, it's Zombiecide.

Can i use something elses than Green spraycoat? What was the name of these color can? Great video btw!

Always wash your minis to remove any mold release materials in warm and soapy water first. Something many people forget to mention but is important for beginners as it can save a lot of issues. What color primer did you use if I could ask? Also have you done a video using just the Zombie Core Paint Set? I haven't found one yet.

When is the second ed paint set coming out?
