If you're expecting a silly, cliché rom com about Italy from watching the 1st episode, this is not one of those. I was in tears for most of the episodes. It's so beautiful, well acted and quite emotional but somehow through all the sadness, you feel hope, gratefulness and new beginnings.

I watched this last night! Had no idea it was a true story. It brought me great sorrow, since me parents have since passed, me grandparents, recently, 2 sisters and me dog. I cried! Zoe did an amazing job in learning Italian as well as her played the character. Lino was also aspiring and did an excellent part. Everyone did!
