Vietnam War Zippo Restoration
Today I will be rehabilitating something quite special. It was a lighter I collected from the Vietnam War. It is imprinted with the history of the Vietnam war. Please watch all the videos to see how great it is !!!

Come on now, this Zippo is supposed to be a Vietnam era lighter that has been "lost" all this time yet the insert is perfectly shiney?!? Nah, I'm not buying it!

I agree. The brass screw for the flint was shiny new. I would just like to know how they get the case so corroded.
Never the same insert (B-XIV when dismantled and D-09 "restored"), we are taken for idiots. I'd like to see the date under the lighter.

two inserts. One has 1933-1954 Zippo script. Other has D-09 on it. April 2009. IWould like to see date code on bottom.

Many old zippo cases have newer inserts this is just a factIit was much easier just to get another insert than fix it, back in the day when these were two a penny.I have a Vietnam zippo with a newer insert and i know this is real as a family piece
Date on the insert says D 09 which means it was made in April of 2009😂

Good job, but your zippo is 100% fake
brass does not rust.....my guess .....coffee ....
I think in America they didn’t know about pliers becouse he didn’t use them 😂
And that’s not from ww ll it has the wrong shape and the September 1 1939 that means zippo was only a company for 36 years witch but that time was still the early design just boxy with that one is not by looking at it, it seems to be from about 2019-2020
