It’s an NBA rule that won’t allow him to play yet. He didn’t even have to play college basketball to play in the nba and in fact, him playing at duke made him the number one pick. Not everyone just thinks about money. He’s a 18/19 year old that probably just wants to enjoy at least one year in college and do normal things before taking off for the nba 🤷🏻‍♂️

However what makes this young man special might end up being his down fall.someone of his size should not be able to move as quick nor jump as high as he does.kinda the same reason why Yao didn't last very long. Personally if i was a Gm in a position to draft this young man number 1, id make damn sure i have the very best trainers and doctors available and id limit his mileage his first 5 years cause at his size he will easily take knee and back damage.

@Anantavijaya Das naw its just pulling ya back to reality.look zion will not have a game changing Career.even if he stays 100% healthy and scores 30 12 and 10 his entire Career he will STILL never be better then MJ. MJ changed not only the Nba,but marketing, player owner relationships,he Pioneered a "BRAND" concept, became a part of 80s and 90s pop culture ect.where he went financial empires just Sprang into existence and i haven't even mentioned stats, awards or Accomplishments in his own field. You see that's why MJ is the GOAT,he became larger then life, much more then the sum of any box score he could put up.he Surpassed icon status for peats sake. when you watched ANY game that had MJ in it during the 90s EVERYONE AUTOMATICALLY Assumed he would win that game 100% of the time EVEN HIS OPPONENTS!!!! He became a Legend,he had some sort of magic bag that he could always go to to pull out the win,he wasn't just clutch he seemed Invincible damn nearly like someone not from this world, thats why Larry Legend Bird said "Thats not Michael Jordan,Thats god" You youngsters have no clue when you toss around the term GOAT.not Kobe, not Lebron NO ONE from this generation can be nor ever will be the greatest because its ALL ALREADY BEEN DONE BY MICHAEL JORDAN HIMSELF FIRST!!! I get it,its a Hip term for you all to toss around, but just how many Former players are now team owners?? Yeah just one and only 1,how many more shoe empires do you think can be created by a lebron or a zion or a kobe??o that's right ZERO instead they all use the same one MJ BUILT!! For Zion or anyone else to become the greatest they would have to once again change EVERYTHING around them.maybe when some guy gets the nba to start playing on hover boards or something. Honestly Evaluate the nba and the world in 2003 vs today and tell me exactly what Lebron or Kobe changed?? Kobe will be remembered for scoring lots of points BECAUSE HE WAS A BALL HOG and Lebron will be remembered for soft play, super teams and flops. MJ didn't have to leave to go play on the newest super team.the super team WAS MJ!! MJ didnt need rules to be Manipulated to Elevate his game,he took the entire Opponents best PUNCHES and KNOCK DOWNS and dunked on every damn one of them and made them his bitch.
