Zika Virus 3D VR. Virtual Reality Animation
INSTRUCTIONS The animation is best viewed through Google Cardboard or VR glasses such as the Samsung Gear VR, Oculus devices, and HTC Vive. It can also be viewed on KZread in 360-degree mode without any additional devices. Look around at any moment by clicking and dragging over the animation.
In all cases, make sure to select full-quality
2160s 4K in the bottom-right corner of the KZread player window.
Zika 3D model is made at the atomic level of detail based on current scientific data and computational biology simulations. Virtual reality provides a unique opportunity for the viewer to become part of the microworld and view complicated supramolecular structures.

Very interesting video. The image quality is outstanding, however, the Chikungunya virus belongs to the Togaviridae family (Alphavirus family), not Flaviviridae.

Hi! Thanks for this comment. Yes, we already know about this inaccuracy, and we even corrected the voice-over in the latest version of the animation, that will be available in the AR/VR app that we are now developing.
