Biomedical visualization studio Visual Science has created the most detailed and scientifically accurate 3D model of the SARS-CoV-2 virus at atomic resolution. The model is based on the latest scientific research into the structure of coronaviruses, as well as input from expert virologists involved in the research. This is the most accurate model of the SARS-CoV-2 viral particle currently available. To produce it, Visual Science employed the same techniques of structural bioinformatics used in basic research and drug development.
The SARS-CoV-2 virus model is a part of Visual Science's non-commercial Viral Park project. Viral Park's past successes include models of HIV, influenza A/H1N1, Ebola, papilloma, and Zika virions.
We use the same color scheme throughout the whole Viral Park project. Bright colors show the proteins encoded by the viral genome. Shades of gray correspond to the structures taken by viruses from the host cell. Thus we emphasize the parasitic and non-autonomous nature of the viruses.

This visualization is amazing! But I really wish to understand what makes the virus move and trigger the reproduction mechanic on atomic level. For me it's just a bunch of little spheres(atoms) and I really struggle to understand why it moves and does things in the first place. Why it just "wants" to infect cells and reproduce?

@Pasquale D'Acunzo actually I thank you for replying. I really want to understand why the virus is configured like this. From what I understand it's just a little protein based machine. But what I'm curious about is how this configuration came into place. For some reason when you said it's like a computer virus, it came into my mind that maybe we yet have to discover what makes these configurations happen. I'm talking about Atom configurations. I know it's probably "just" chemistry. What really blows my mind is the "Reason" why it infect cells and why it has a genetic code in it. Also why those spike protein act like that. I'm so curious about this world. :D

As a 'science' channel you should have mentioned early RTC formation, the 14 nonstructural proteins and DMV formation on the endoplasmic reticulum. They're the core complexes that make SAR-COV-2 and others SARS unique. I understand a synopsis for the simple but aren't there enough of those already?
