I asked my good friend Alex from Guam, to teach me how to play this song on the ukulele to specifically play & sing it to my mother. She moved to Arizona while I was back here on the island of Kauai. I played & sang it to her over the phone while she was on lunch break. We both broke down with happiness & sadness. Ever since, she’d always ask me to play & sing it to her at the end our beautiful conversations. It made us feel together. It was always a beautiful moment for us. Rest in love mama bear. I met Ziggy serendipitously on a beach in Hawaii in 1999 after I'd been repeating the mantra-title of his song 'Shalom Salaam' non-stop for the past two hours. Ziggy loved hearing about it. He threw back his dreads laughing loudly, saying something like, "That's life for you! Magic!" Then he invited me to visit him in Jamaica. I told him I almost never left Maui, so it was unlikely. and thanked him for the invitation, anyway.

Ziggy, were absolutely my favorite live show yet! I was lucky enough to bring my oldest daughter (21 yrs), my husband (who took me to my 1st reggae show) & a friend who never really listened to reggae. What a great time we had @ ON fair grounds!!!! Thank you so much. It would be great if you & your brothers played @ all age location. My 9 yr old son & 12 yr autistic daughter love you guys also & would love to see you live!
