The pass at 1:56 is hands down the most insane pass I have ever seen on a football pitch. Gary Lineker used to talk about Maradona doing keepy uppies by slicing the ball straight up in the air with the outside of his foot, then slicing it straight back up again, over and over again, crazily high. Zidane basically did that in the middle of a match.

Weldone bro. Thank you for showing the younger generation a glimpse of why Zidane was unplayable. Most videos just show clips of his goals, stats. Some of us watched him at his peak.... Zidane was extraterrestrial. I've never seen a footballer make a every match look like his personal training ground.

It took 50 years to find someone able to equal Pelé with Mbappé! Don't take it from me, it's Pelé himself who said it before or after the World Cup 2018 (don't remember exactly). Zidane was unique because of his abilities and his size. Messi, Maradona are both great attacking midfileders but they were/are small which help them a lot in their game. Both can't score with their head.

There has been talk lately among the youth that Bellingham might be better than Zidane. Bellingham is an outstanding player, but this man here is one of the ten greatest players of all time. Throughout the video, Zidane's body is almost always angled in the wrong way to receive and move the ball. 99% of players would lose the ball in those situations or attempt a safe pass back to a defender. And yet, he not only receives the ball, but plays it on to an attacking teammate with inch-perfect precision. Often, he plays the ball into the space that he wants his teammate to attack. Absolutely out of this world technique, precision, and vision displayed in 1-2 second actions. Any one of those passes might be the best pass a lesser player has ever played in their career. P.S. It's a testament to how otherwordly Zidane was that even his own teammates couldn't pick up his passes so often. He played with a whole host of excellent and world-class players and even they are stunned by how he finds them in these bizarre situations.

Wow crazy football there. The pass is very relevant about Zidane skills , he could see 360 degrees on the field, always seeing the solution even when it’s back his head, and always he pushes the ball in free space for his partner, showing the way to go, and creating this defense breakthrough to make the difference for the entire team. This, because he has the best right foot ever for ball control, on earth or in air. What a footballer he was !
