This is what happens when companies that prioritizing profits at the expense of consumer expectations and satisfaction. Zhiyun just couldn't resist dropping this on the market to have their hands on the share of the market pie, especially when DJI was dropping theirs.

Such a shame to see Zhiyuns fall from grace. I remember when I first started watching your channel, when the Weebill S launched, it was revolutionary for its time and nothing came close to it on the market. But instead of innovate on the Weebill S design, it seems they have taken a step backwards every year. I bought a DJI RS3 yesterday. Thank you for your honesty and expertise Peter 👏

Yes, the weebill S was amazing and Zhiyun had the upper hand. They should take a step back and just make the weebill s better. It is that simple….. The DJI RS3 is amazing and i think it is the best gimbal on the market right now.

100%, no reason to change it out. Can recomend buying the weebill 2 back handle for the Weebill S. You just need 2 spacers and a longer screw to make it work.

@@PeterMakholm Exactly Peter! Zhiyun still doesn't think of sustainability! Instead of optimizing the existing gimbals, bring a new device into the market every six months that is not necessarily better than the old ones. Above all, I am bothered by the fact that they went from the rechargeable batteries to the permanently built -in. I also love my webill s because of this property!

Hi, Weebill 3 is here.... It is not my favorite gimbal, but it might be for you. here is my review.

As someone who hates gimbals this is great for a new gimbal user. Not a professional that has dozens of gimbal. The size is why I like it but trying to become a better gimbal user. I think women would like it for the size. Then upgrade later to the bigger ones

I just purchased a weebil 3 to replace my weebill s and I prefer it. Feels nicer to hold, smoother movement, slightly more powerful motor. The built in light is definitely handy in dark situations. The mic I would never use. Still testing the battery life.

Have you tried the wrist support and the underslung handle? Mine arrived yesterday and I actually like the desgin so far. Though it's a different form from the Weebills, it feels very light, sturdy and really saves my wrist a lot of pressure.

For a first gimbal, is the Weebill S enough or should i go for a dji RS3 for the extra money. Is there a big difference and can a gimbal “amateur” get the extra money out of it? I’m not going to do some crazy production things. Thanks !!

You can easily start with the weebill S. its a great gimbal. I still use it. Most of my gimbal academy is created with the weebill S.

Thanks for the video. I did like the gimbal movement tips. What I would have liked to see more of is information on the Weebill 3. It doesn't work for you, and that's completely valid. I've been considering this gimbal and would like to know more to see if it might work for me. It is supposed to be lighter weight than the S. Is the weight difference significant enough to make a difference? Any increase in payload capacity? Has battery life changed from the S? Form factor? Without the undersling handle it seems like it would be easier to throw in a backpack, making it more portable. The undersling handle can be added... you don't like it, but it would have been nice to see it in use to decide for myself. There is supposed to be a smaller quick-release plate, which sounds like a good feature. I do appreciate you pointing out the negative (for you) features. There other changes to the 3 that should have been covered. They sound good on paper, but marketing cannot be trusted.

we have been using Zhiyun since the 1st Crane iteration until the WEEBILL S, which combines everything we need for our productions. It's not perfect, but it balances everything we need pretty good. The new WEEBILL 3 is nothing for us, especially due to the new design, which does not allow to attach proper Monitors and other accessories as easy as with the WEEBILL S. And it seems just not very well balanced out and adjusted to every day use. We will most likely switch do DJI RS3.

Hi thanks. Depending on your camera size you might be able to use a cage and mount it on the side. That is how I do it.

It worked for me with an L-bracket on my lumix S5. Tilt it to the left side for the lens to sit as low as possible. For underslung mode, turn the weebill on after placing the camera with the gimbal underslung.

I used the gimbal 2 weeks ago, the power button place very bad and the battery life it only 4 hours so I’m disappointed 👎
