Hey guys thank you so much for all the great content and this amazing review! You've pretty much sold me on this gimbal but I’m a little confused about the follow focus. Is there a way to have a remote device (Not a phone) for another person to follow focus with? Does this system only provide follow focus with the focus wheel on the gimbal, or is there a way I can have a dedicated focus puller to have an external monitor and a remote such as the ifocus from mozu air 2. I've been looking everywhere to try and get this answered but can't find it anywhere and would love to be sure before I pull the trigger :) Really appreciate any help, thank you so much! :)

Just watched from Dubai. Very happy to see my future Camera sitting on the gimbal. I think they have included some Fuji support since your review so if you could check that out and let me know how it is that would be great. How does the Fuji perform on the gimbal in general? and what lenses are you using?

Amazing review dude, can we connect átomos monitor on it easily ?

Can the Crane 3 do 360 barrel rolls? I know the last one couldn't and I also noticed that when you were controlling in the app it had hard stops.

I was saving to get the DJI Ronin and now this 3 has sparked my intrigue. Does anyone have any info or feedback as I stash my nickels to get some type of stabilizer?

Are the buttons working with a Lumix g70?

It seems that this would be a better gimbal for the bmpcc4k

Thank you for this tutorial, I am having problems with my Crane 3 Lab, I've upgraded it to V1.90 and then I attempted to upgrade the Servo Motors (Max & Lite) but there is a Yellow light that continues to blink. Have you experienced this problem or can you offer me any assistance? I can't seem to find a number for tech support in the US for this manufacturer.

I have trouble using zoom control on Crane 3. I’m using a7r3 with Tamron 28-75mm lens. The zoom control slips a couple of teeth when it’s trying to zoom. Have you seen this issue ?

2-3 minutes of shooting and stabilizer overheats. I work with Canon mark 3 on medium and high overheats quickly. Is this normal?

Thanks for your great video! How it perform when it comes to a competition with Ronin S and Moza air 2? I mean without these fancy functions and looking, the most important things to a gimbal is stabilize, right?

It stabilize the same. What changes is your feel and your way to use it.

Aside from the interface and ease of use, it doesn't really seem to be an upgrade from my Crane 2. I have a monitor mount and double handle, so it eliminates a lot of problems I had. Great review! Seems like I'll keep my Crane 2 for another year.

@@alphasnowmediapro7175 Hey, sorry for the late reply. I advice you check out Aliexpress, which is where I got mine. There you can buy a monitor stand and monitor. I bought my monitor from Amazon, a Neewer field monitor.

Its pretty quite. I have one and no motor sounds

Swapping out the battery on the GH5 is not easy. The door is blocked by the thumbscrew on the side of the plate.

a lot of jitter on the footage. was your gimbal broken?

Crane 3 Lab half off (at least today B&H and Amazon $450) so I snapped it up! That was a no brainer!

Have crane 2.any real reasons to upgrade to 3? It seems more comfi but what matters is-is footage going to be more stabilized or any better or the same?

It more or less feels the same than a ronin or the air 2. After a while you get used to it. We were using the ronin for filming this video and i couldnt really feel a diff. For travel definitely as the box is really thin and the 3lab folds super easy

curious about the zoomcontroller.... zoomlenses shift the balance, even the once with internal focus. So... how will the balance be then? I hope these gimbals will bridge the gap toward motorised sliders with pan/tilt options.... since those are extremely expensive still...

yeah but it's about the lens... zooming the lens will shift your balance point... even with the internal focus lenses, some glass is moving from left to right or back.... even a lenscap will change your balance, so...

@@JePeVePe, yes, it is sensitive, but that must be happened in every gimbal. because if you add some thing on the quick set up. the weight will be changed, then you need to adjust the balance again.

@@gracejacob5016 i thought about this and apparently there are lenses that have internal zoom on them. I accidentally bought one. The sony 18-105 f4 e-mount lens. has an internal zoom. Meaning the size doesn't change when zoomed in and out

Just 5 years ago you couldn't get a basic 3-axis gimbal for less than $2k. I have a Movi M5 which currently retails for around $2500 and has no integrated follow focus/zoom or camera control functions. What you're getting here for $900 is incredible.

I don't know if it's the user or the gimbal.. but not cinematic stable at all

My experience with Zhiyun Crane 3 Lab is not good. I returned it. and Bought AK2000 from Feiyutech, I used it from a couple weeks, up to now it works good, hope this gimbal will not make me down.

Strange that they couldn't find a more elegant solution to replace those dangling zip ties above the lens.

The price of Crane 3 Lab in Zhiyun is too high, and the price will be more attractive if it is closer to photography enthusiasts.

ehr... you get 2 motors for followfocus and for a zoom, controlled all by the gimbal... Try to find such in any other gimbal... I paid the same price for a 'normal' CAME-TV gimbal.

Dont buy one if you cant afford it.

it looks bulky, and the button are not well organized, I prefer the touch screen of AK2000 of Feiyu Tech.

skip to 1:45 to avoid all the jazzy intros and random chat.

Have someone twitches on this gimbal ?

Unfortunately when it arrived I spent more than 2 hours trying to stabilize the camera and turn on the crane. The gimbal would power on and then shortly after power off (batteries at full charge). After talking with other zhiyun crane owners we realized that it was defective.

It's because you did not balance it right. If you dont get the balance right the motors will work over time and drain the batteries.

best gimbal!? everyone look at the footage i uploaded. this thing has SO many tiny little vibrations that your footage is worthless. yes, my camera weighs 6 lbs and is balanced. the lab 3 isnt nearly as great as the footages you see youtubers post

cannot get the money back and can not have the gimbal...cheating?

The APP dosen't work with Android... so it's a huge downside and not the best gimbal.

image transition is just not posibile with GH5 and Android.... if you have a Sony you can switch to Video Mode and back to M and get a picture... so your wrong is wrong :p @@8020Alive
