In two weeks! Great call out. Sometimes what you learned in school can really leave a mark. I constantly say “the week after next” - what i learned in school and everyone seems to get a little confused by that phrase. Instead, it is simple and straightforward: “In two weeks!” Nicely done.

Nice video! I have been in the States for more than 10 years and it makes me realize that I have been used to many expressions without even realizing it. I am wondering if some are actually British English instead of Chinese English. PS: actually it was a surprise to me that some Americans actually say "long time no see" whereas I thought that was a textbook Chinese English.

A friend of mine asked me to check this video out to see if I agree. Well yes on the most part. But in NY we do say supermarket just as often as grocery store. And we say raining cats and dogs sometimes depending on if you wanna be dramatic. And we use SHALL for the same reason all the time (maybe because I'm always around a bunch of middle aged ill humored soldiers). As it for motorcycle... you are right, we rarely say it, but definitely more often than "refrigerator" (as opposed to fridge). Maybe that's the one you were looking for lol
