WOW! I did not know you could do this beautiful bamboo weaving. My grandfather used to do palm and grass weaving, it was very useful, he made carpets (petates) for my brothers and sisters to lay on.

Love how they made it from raw mats to finish products same like here in the Phil . Its called " Bilao "

So sad, not seeing a daughter or granddaughter watching the woman weave, this art will be lost without handing it down. My Dad taught me plumbing and my husbands dad taught him the basics of all the trades. I'm glad for these skills

Yeah, I live in São Paulo, a big city in Brasil, but as a carpenter i do hardwork too, sometmes ive olso negletet security that cause me some bad accidents ... have a nice day man!
