that was my thought as i was watching it. usually the casters are trying to hype the underdog to make the series/games exciting. never would i ever think of zest being that guy.

Its always such a pleasure to watch Serral play. As close to perfection as ive ever seen in zerg play.

As great as Serral is, I think Reynor has a higher ceiling. He'll beat Serral next year.

Gg My God he's so good He's pretty good at this game Serral comes in, first day at Blizzcon, 4-0, we're not gonna see him until the next stage Blah blah blah They both got bashed by Serral

I for one is a zerg lover and user, but i doubt i'll ever get to 1% of serrals' level, he is like from a different realm man!!

They should add 20min to everyone one these videos so you can't tell who won from the amount of time left.

Truestm My proverbial money is on Serral besting Maru. Serral has gotten way better since 2017 and has beaten Maru this year in the ‘Team Serral vs Team Maru’. (Albeit it was just an exhibition match)

Duane Locsin Yeah I honestly dont think maru was going all out there. In the last real series they fought, I forget what the tournament is, the big non-wcs-circuit tournament. Starts with a K In that series, maru *ATE* serral. I do think it’ll be close. My prediction is a 4-2 or 4-3 but I think it’ll go to maru.

Truestm that was 2017 lots of players beat and Serral simply didn’t start getting into form until the start of 2018 when he said he trained very hard (and it obviously paid off). There is a difference between Serral of 2017 and 2018 in his gameplay mechanics and controls. I’m not making excuses for Serral losing to Maru in 2017, and you shouldn’t make excuses for Maru losing to Serral in 2018. Serral has a very strong macro ability, very good at defending early pushes, cheeses and rushes.(even from Has) Maru is great no doubt about it, you can bet on Maru, but my money is still on Serral due to his tight controls and positioning in macro. Serral vs Maru The only way to resolve this is we wait and see who is the better one between the two IF they both reach and face off against each other in the WCS global 2018 grand-final.

Truestm the last series they fought was this year with the exhibition match ‘Team Serral vs Team Maru’ Serral resounding beat Maru, and even if it was just an exhibition match, why would Maru hold back?

@@AdmiralBison I think Maru has its chances. We've seen a slight change in Rogue playstyle against Special: use of roaches + tunneling claws, Ling counter attacks and overlords drops. I think he was practicing these against Maru because these are Serral's playstyle (even Reynor switch to some of these strategies after he lost against Serral). So if Maru is prepared, I think it will be really close. Question is : does Serral have new crazy strategies? Sorry for my English, I'm not English native.

Isn´t it a bit foolish to build air units that early on knowing Serral´s play style? Yes, you can harass and get a few drones but those resources could have been spent on expanding and solidifying.

Just seems to me zerg is overpowered. They move to fast. In what game should ground units move faster then air units?

Protoss is pretty underpowered.. I mean look at the line up. 7 Protoss 4 Terran and 5 zerg. And only 2 Protoss are left. Wow

I think he has a cool voice but his knowledge is sometimes somewhat lacking despite his long time career in the scene.

Incontrol is such a bad caster. Never supports his co-caster no matter who you line him up with. So arrogant.
