I have opened DMAT account with zerodha in First week of April,2020 at the age of 56 year and placed my first very conservative small GTT CNC order today for HDFC bank with trigger prize of Rs 850 and buying Price of Rs 840 as I did not know even ABC of stocks and shares before I watched your videos. I am excited as well as slightly scared also to enter into share trading . I hope your videos will be useful for me for learning stock trading/ long term investment which I want to do for accumulating money for my children by investing/ trading in market. I am not sure what will be the outcome . Anyway thanks for your encouraging and knowledgable videos.

Nice explanation you really made it simple... but I have some doubt 1) Can GTT be used for short selling? 2) Can stop loss for CNC will remain until I sell stock or I have to always update stop loss? 3)Does stop loss require POA to be done? 4) Does auto square off has any charges?

The video was absolutely toooo informative.. I just have one doubt when u were placing the intra day order taking the stop loss ...u mentioned the stop loss in limit price...where should the SL be mentioned? In limit price or SL trigger price????

I think in an SL order, trigger price and limit price are both required. The stop-loss gets triggered at trigger price and gets executed at (or better than) limit price. In an SLM order, only trigger price is required because the stop-loss, in this case, gets triggered at trigger price and gets executed at market-price.
