Zero Waste Cleaning Products VS DIY Homemade Cleaning Products | Is Blueland worth it?

Hello everyone! Today I am trying one of the zero waste, all neutral cleaners VS my DIY homemade cleaners. I purchased the entire Blueland package for $75 and I tried it for over 6 months. It was time to put my DIY all cleaners and the Blueland products into the test side by side. When I became a mom I started being caution about the products that I use in my home. I wanted to make sure I am not using chemical cleaners too much specially where the kids touch constantly. When I found the Blueland brand and the concept behind it (eliminating plastic), I was all convinced that this is for me. So I invest the money and ordered it. I also should mention the nozzle on the bottle stoped working after couple months but they did replace it for free of charge.
Essential Oils that i like to mix with my DIY solutions:
Lavender and sometimes I mix the Lavender with lime
Lemon and you also can mix the lemon and basil
Orange is also my favorites

Hi Elnaz. ust found your channel and am really enjoying your tips. For the DIY glass and mirror cleaner, do you add dish soap to that mixture ??

Amazing results! Thanks a lot, Elnaz! 😍 I'm curious to know what type of cleaners you use for wooden furniture (in most manuals they say not to use a microfiber cloth as it can scratch the wood, so I've personally started to use a simple damp cloth to dust, no cleaners at all). And what about MDF furniture? (I made the mistake of using multi-purpose cleaners and some surfaces have started to swell up at the corners :( At the same time, I feel like just using a simple damp cloth won't kill all the germs...

Hi Stephanie! I know wood is really tricky. Be honest I always used microfiber on my wooden tables and never had a scratch. You can mix white vinegar and olive oil and spray it on the wood. My cabinets are made of MDF and I just wipe them with warm water mix with half a teaspoon detergent (Dawn) and then I wipe them dry. Hope this helps 🥰 thanks for watching again 🙏🏻❤️

Hi Steph I too feel wood is tricky. I have used vinegar with olive oil with decent results. Also I think it depends on the climate of the place you live in. I live in a coastal city would never put water on my furniture 😲

You used Dawn. Which is made of petroleum, and is shipped in liquid form, so heavy, more carbon in transport. Throw away bottle = more waste. I think you missed the main point of Blueland!

No I simply made this video to show which one cleaned better. Blueland did not clean better and that was the only point. Thanks for watching.
