This man is 100% right I’ve been telling people to do this from the beginning and if you change your dead zone to reflect what you want it to do,like let’s say you turn your response curve all the way down but get stick drift, turn your dead zone up a little more and it will be smooth and crispy. At that point it’s just a matter of getting your thumb and muscle memory used to not needing to pull your stick to the bottom rim

​@@grymmreapa1411yeah i gotta agree, ive just had to get use to playing with it because even on 5% deadzone my stick drift is bad and i dont go any higher than 5% because it would really mess me up, so i now have it at 1% and although the drift is insane recoil got a lot better to controll. i just dont see how people can have literally zero recoil with flatline that far away. ive tried every sens imaginable and i can beam with the flatline just not from spawn point like district did

3 is the sweet spot for Response curve. Pair it with a 3-4% deadzone. 🔥

As a long time player, I recommend you have your response curve set to atleast 1 or higher. It's more consistent the higher you set it and you won't have as much stick drift if that's an issue. I played at 0 or 1 for years and went to 5 for better beams, even if it messes up my tracking occasionally.

Well yeah, controller players literally have the game auto-lock the reticle onto enemies. If controller players really want to be proud of that vs the mnk people who have to put in time and work to do all the crazy moves and aim well without aim assist, okay I guess. You do you 🤷‍♂️

It's just laughable that you guys solely rely on settings and aim assist and then call it skill when you get more kills 😂 I know pc players who spend more time aim training than actually playing and their skill levels are beyond my comprehension, I cant say the same for controller players. This is coming from someone who grew up on all sorts of consoles and still have love for them, but pc is just better for skill/aim based games.

The whole point in playing a shooter with recoil feature is to get good at that recoil feature ...the fps game loses signicant gun skill associated with a shooter and makes it a "spray stupidity game for adhs kids that might be satisfied with easy shit". I played a roller for 3 weeks and mnk for the rest since season 3 + thousands of hours in other games....and yet I am still better in one clipping people on roller in this game. It just takes you perhaps 3-6 weeks and with a good game sense, you are 200% a master player every season! Its so easy that I went back to mnk to have better skill challenges.

@@colin7225 for sure, I set my deadzone high enough that there's no stick drift from just touching the stick, I think that's usually about 12-14%. Then my response curve is at minimum (0) I've found this to be the best recoil control settings for me, then go into the firing range and see what the new recoil for each gun is so you're not caught off guard when you're in a match Hope it helps!

Honestly all i needed was the response curce to fix the recoil a bit so this helps

Another tip if you don’t want to run ALC controls under the movement/aiming in the controller tab change response curve to linear 😊

I always increase my y-axis sensitivity that way I could bring it down faster / easier
