We've given Nik something a little different this time, he's here to review the Zero FXE!
He takes the electric Zero FXE to the seaside to see if he can get there and back on one battery!

Very eloquent, and accurate, comparison of the two technologies. I just test ride an FX and absolutely love it. I would get one in an instant for local commuting if it was $4000 less.
It's hilarious to see Nik be completely confused by this motorcycle, and it's interesting how many oldtimers have fully intertwined the combustion engine with the notion of what a vehicle is. Probably because it is all they've ever known! Really though from a practical perspective when compared to a combustion engine motorcycle, it's a ridiculously capable motor paired with a tiny "gas tank" that can only be refilled through a straw (but you can do it at home while you sleep). If you ride accordingly, there's no range anxiety anymore. Just a ton of fun!
Also i'd like to add that on an empty electric motorcycle you need an 8 hour charge as much as an empty gas tank needs the full 12 litres or however much fills it up completely! About 30 minutes to an hour is most likely plenty to get where you need to go, if you're stranded near an outlet.
While this might be the future of cars and bikes i love the feel and sound of a combustion engine. Its just not the same. Most people ride bikes for fun and feel. See where the technology goes.
Cracking review 🎉 definitely worth a look into
Nice e-bike it looks like an upgraded Suron
How do I enter for camper?
i love the sound of motorcycles, especially stuff like dual sports, but the silence is great for city commuting. a harley driving by in a busy area gets a lot of dirty looks. not that i particularly care about dirty looks but if i'm leaving early in the morning and coming home late at night, it'd be nice knowing i'm not waking everyone up as i'm riding by. perfect city commuter. the only bad part about the FXE is no traction control, and i've heard from long time zero owners that customer support can be very bad. damage or an electronic failure can take weeks to repair if zero isn't communicating well with the dealer. for this price tag, support *should* be great. but even for their more expensive bikes, support is lackluster. i'm still very interested in the FXE though. by the way do you know this road well? the speed you took these corners with was making me nervous😅
How many miles did you do then?!

WHO KNOWS ????? !!!!!
Hmm, I guess it has good acceleration as they’ve left off the front mudguard…. 😔 commuter bike?….. can’t see you able to fit a top box to that. Oh, hold on, I’m old fashioned, I’m thinking of practicality. 35:38
