As for the use of salt, though it is I the video I am adding it here for those who wish to read
Stage 1 Treatment
15g Rock Salt for 10L of Water
Add 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) of salt for 10L of water. You can pour the salt directly into the aquarium or hospital tank, but some people like to dissolve the salt in a small cup of water first. It’s used to fight mild cases of bacterial and fungal infection. Plus, it gently irritates the fish’s slime coat, causing the fish to make more beneficial mucus that can block some parasites and microorganisms from reaching its body.
Stage 2 Treatment
15g Rock Salt for 6-7L of Wate
Use a concentration of 1tbsp. of salt for 6-7L of water for the next level of treatment. stage 2 treatment is capable of combating a wider range of illnesses. For example, you can use this recipe to treat ich (a common ailment also known as white spot disease) for a period of 10 days. However, if the symptoms are only getting worse after 5 days, try increasing the concentration again.
Stage 3 Treatment
15g Rock Salt for 3-4L of Water
Raise the concentration to 1tbsp. of salt for 3-4L of water, and this potent solution will knock out nearly everything. Stage 3 treatment is very hard on scale-less fish and other sensitive species, so please do some research beforehand.
Then there is also the use of a good Aquarium Heater

Hi there, it looks like my betta has clamped fins so I’ve just put him in the hospital tank and I followed your instructions. I really hope he gets better in 1 week! Thank you so much for this video. I have a question. Do I need to have an air pump in the hospital tank? I don’t have a spare one so just wondering if I should or not. Thanks!

Hi sir, big fan of your videos. I use uv filtered water for my soft water fish tank, my tank is cycled. I know this because I check the nitrates with the API test kit and do 70% water changes when the nitrates are high which is around 3-4 weeks. It's a non planted aquarium but I ensure there is a very thick layer of substrate and good filter media via over the tank filter. I recently bought Mollys to add to this tank and within one day I saw fungus on the mouth of two fish, which is looks red from the outside. I'm trying your salt treatment from today as per the quantity you suggested in a seperate tank. Thanks for your very informative videos. I'm so happy to see your fish food products in my local stores.😊

Hello sir! Found your explanation & this video, very helpful. Thank you, for this! Btw, I have a query regarding my full moon male betta! I have kept it in a 8inch bowl. Just bought it 3 weeks back & new to this fish keeping at home. • The starting week, when I brought it was fine, with a little rock salt added to the normal tap water of my apartment. But at the end of 1st week, I felt lil changes in it's behaviour. • After a week I changed the full water of the bowl and then in the 2nd week, *the fins of the fish got totally shrinked; had lil white dots/spots on its body; it wasn't eating much & it used to simply be stable at one corner. And while moving, the movement had become very speed!* • Then I changed the water again, with lil rock salt. This is the 3rd week now! I checked with the dealer where I brought the fish, *he said to put a lil warm water & will be fine. So 2 days back, I put lil warm water!* Now it seems a lil better than the 2nd week & kinda eats normally. But I would really like to ask & know it from you, what should I do? How should I treat the water? For how many days/weeks should I replace my water in the bowl? And how should I treat the food for it? Please, guide me through this! I want it to make it, how it was when I bought it 3 weeks back. Thank you!

The body of the fish seems to be better now & there's no fungal spots! *And wanted to know if the fins which got shrinked, will it be back to normal like before, as time passes?* Or do I need to do any additional things/add medicine for the fin restoration? Please guide! Thank you very much. 😄😇

Also i added some CERAMIC RINGS and ACTIVATED CARBON in my power filter,,from which pebbles and some wall areas get dirty within 10 days,,,, So, i wanted to ask you that is this a good practice or it can harm fishes (Is it good for gouramis) Your advices are very helpful...❤️❤️ Plz reply sir😊

Your 4th point really hit me. I really want my fish to live 5-10year or so and give them a proper home. But some of us are student or in a tight financial state. I can't force my parents to get all at once, sadly it'll take nearly a year to prapare a complete aquarium. Also there's this issue with local fish/aquarium shops, they'll sell you everything but something useful. It's really very demotivating. I will remember I lost fishes worth 1500/= bdt in a month listening to them and parents are convinced that it was a bad idea to step into fish-keeping hobby.

Thank you Sir for this wonderful lesson. My tank is approximately 45 ltrs tank. Dimensions are 23inch length x 11 inches width x 14 inches height water. I started putting mostly artificial plants because the fish keep eating the plants everytime and its become expensive for me to buy real plants as I'm retired and no source of income now. I feed them wit Taiyo pellets and Taiyo flake food or dehydrated dry worms. I face the natural problem of green moss on the glass which I clean with soft sponge. I have a processor which is on continously and double outlet oxygen pump. I have a big yellow snail around size of a table tennis ball and I am told it helps to clean the tank. I Chang the water weekly and the biofilter twice a week. There is lots of Plants and some golden rock and a black porous rock which the fish gain nutrients from. I also have thermostat heater. Only problem is the fish eat the babies. My fish are Molly, Gold fish, Widows, Ghostfish and a hockey stick type fish. I have gold sand and other riverbed sand mixed. Please suggest and advise me how to give better care for my fish. Water used is tanker water. And when I change the water I add few drops of anti chlorine few drops of blue color few drops of blue anti itch. Thank you for wonderful educational services video My name is Jude

Sir, my moonlight gourami has got some black parasites (likely to be anchor worm Lernaea) on the body. Initially, I tried to remove them with a tweezer and the tried salt treatment. Somehow, they are not gone and now have started to spread in other fishes (neon and other tetras). I also have some snails - not sure if I can do salt treatment in the entire tank. Is there any medicine to get rid of this black parasite like things visible on the body of the fish?

Salt is a good way to go yet i have seen a anchor worm medicine form Bubbles an Troubles, I have not used it so cannot confirm the results In your case the tank is infected, the only way to be sure of a complete cure is to move out the fish and wash the tank with Hydrogen peroxide, and treat the fish with salt and heat, it is a slow process but works

Divide tank in 2 by using a mesh, introduce the female at the empty part, when they get used of eachother, remove the mesh to mate. After mating, male has eggs in bubble nest and guards them, female has to leave, or it may be killed (especially if she tries to eat eggs)!

No you will need to either remove the wood, or you can watch my video on Tiger Barb BioTope, I have shown how to remove tannins

Sir, I got a new betta fish which started to clamp fins and hide in corner after 2 days of getting it. I changed water 50% twice weekly and it started to get better. Its opening up his fins and seems happy now. But I see that his fins have been damaged and are torn at some places. I plan to give it salt treatment. Wanted to know if its right thing to do or fins would grow overtime without this treatment. Moreover it would tough to estimate during a week whether fins are regrowing. So what should be my approach for him.

Hi, should i completely remove the water after stage 1 and then add the quantity of salt prescribed for stage 2? (if the fish is not been cured yet) because the water already has some amount of salt in it from the stage 1. i'm confused, please guide me.
