The final scripted mission event where an invincible Raynor and Fenix are shuttle'd in and start blasting away at Zerg is still awesome to this day.

Meanwhile, on StarCraft Alternate… During the evacuation from Tarsonis to Braxis, the UED's planet base of operations, the new Captain leads Stukov to the Warp Gate to open a path there while Carolina Davis and Jim Raynor are to lead the civilians there. And Draliska will be tagging along while Kagg prepares to bring the Leviathan the long way. Stukov's Agents, a detachment of Raynor's troops, and a few of the Elite Guard gather the scattered remains of their troops and and fight through plenty of Protoss. Eventually, the Warp Gate is found, and Draliska and Raynor and their forces move in to hold the line for the evacuation. (Hmm, come to think of it, perhaps it turns out the Captain from Episode III is the same from Episode IV unlike the Executor in Canon StarCraft. My bad.)

And we thought the Installation missions in vanilla were tough.

Well this looked mostly sane until the Ultralisk spam began!

I have a love/hate thing with this mission. It nails the atmosphere, but man does it feel frustrating seeing the Protoss so overwhelmed after they just killed the Overmind. We needed an extra mission or cutscene where the Zerg overrun most of the conclave.

I thought Brood War expansion was not released yet for this coop version. I am amused ❤

"We must evacuate the Khalai survivors" What survivors? '^^

"Your people? We would be seen as Tyrants to them, why would they shelter us?" is my favorite Aldaris dialogue in the entire game. Can't help but admire his humility shown through such words.

Wouldn't it be infuriating if there was a zerg queen, popping your dragoons all the time from a safe distance?

So what exactly happened to the Conclave? At the last fight against the Overmind they were cheering on Tassadar and after its defeat they're now gone?

Considering how the Overmind has millions of Zerg in its command, one could reasonably wonder why it had a rather small force guarding it on the final mission of the Protoss campaign? Maybe it was because the majority of its minions are battling the conclave blocking them behind the scenes on the 'Eye of the Storm' mission?

If I remember correctly, the Conclave was overrun by Zerg forces during the final assault on the Overmind.

1. I am dissapointed that Aldaris is still alive, i do not trust him. 2. Did you notice the voice ddifference between young artanis and present artanis?

All the sit-ups he did to become buff as a hierarch grew muscles on his lungs, that's why he's more forceful and charismatic in SC2.

Wow, that's quite a difficulty spike. I like it though, it really gives a feeling of despair as their home is completely overrun by the Zerg. The fact that only Zeratul got through (That last part was brutal) really reinforces that feeling.

The ally micro-management is bad in this mission. The point is to save as many as you can and only Zeratul made it in the end.😂
