I've never seen so much divergence and such a close race before. Totally different optional items, different dungeon order... and yet so close in the end. That execution in the end, wow.

I wasn't sure if I'd ever see a race that would top ChristosOwen vs ajneb174 Race 3 from the 2017 Fall Tournament. This race did. Absolutely incredible! I want to give special thanks to the commentators. If I'd commentated a video like this, I'd feel bad about all the mistakes I'd made or dumb things I'd said during such a historic moment. So I'd like Malle and Vitasia to know I enjoyed this race even more because of their commentary and I think they did a good job. :)

Seeing Andy reel in Zer0rush's 9 second lead in Ganon's Tower, pass him, pull off a FLAWLESS Aganihm 2 fight, then jump right into Ganon without Silver Arrows and end up DEAD EVEN after the final blow. forcing a 4th round? This is a GameGasm. It should be played instead of the Super Bowl, period.

It's common that the runners do not start at the same time, or that their streams are not synchronized anyway. This gets solved by pausing the stream that's ahead by the difference. With a second gap, it's easy to miss the pause.

@@skins4thewin Due to the nature of electronic systems, games played on different machines can be slightly faster or slower depending on things completely outside of the players' control. After years of studying speedruns and electronics, some really smart people decided that for this game, a difference of 3 seconds or less could have been caused by the system, not the player's skill, and so is deemed inconclusive; a tie. This is different than something like a foot race, where the competitors are both using the same system at the same time (i.e. the real world).

Since fake flippers are an approved minor glitch for movement, then skipping Aga1 using that method should be allowed. So I say all's fair. Good on them for know the bomb trick.
