I’ve struggled to just open my Bible and read it. I happened to pick it up yesterday and thought “I know I’ll read what God wants me to know”.. and it was THIS! How AMAZING!!! During these days even! I’ve experienced the deepest grief of loosing both of my sons and family within a period of four years. This gives me goosebumps and HOPE ❤

Try a one year bible, theres readings for all 365 days of the year so you can just open and read for whatever day it is. Plus theres a reading from psalms and proverbs. I like the John macarthur daily bible. 😊

Pastor, thank you for your insightful preaching. I use Calvary Chapel Ontario"s playlists extensively in my study of the Bible. Referring to Zeph 1:9, the Bible that I am using refers me to 1 Sam 5:5, which reads, "Therefore neither the priests of Dagon, ... tread on the threshold of Dagon to this day." Interesting, right? And confirming that it is indeed superstition! I hope this is helpful.

We are not the Nation of Israel, but I think now God is talking to us believers in christ not the people of Israel. This is the old testament, then this prophet was taking to t he Nation of israel. That is my thought Pastor. Thank you tge word of God Amen

Thank you for this message Pastor Paul. I am in agreement with the commentor @Bitsang Abi. This is my only concern with many of the interpretations of who Israel is. If we are looking at current day Israel today, it is not correct historically to refer to Israelis as Israelites as they are not the same people. The fortunes to be restored to people who had fortune and built fortune since 1948 ? Or as in return fortunes in what they “supposedly” lost pre 70AD or 722BC? It’s very hard to reconcile this even when I read Isaiah 60. It is clear Isaiah 59 even gives context of who exactly is being referenced here and what shall occur in future concerning said people when you read 60. I think understanding who really is Israel is important to interpreting the entire counsel of God in order to even decipher prophecy from Genesis to Revelation. If not, how prophecy really plays out in the years to come will really confound people. Thankfully, we can all rely on the Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth! Blessings, encouraging message otherwise! We give God Praise!
