Awwww you are the SWEETEST!!! Thank you for the lovely compliment! I have definitely been experimenting with lots of fun self-care things the past few months(especially in the skin care department). I'll try and do a video soon showing my current routine and how I use them. Keep in mind my makeup hides a LOT of old lady evidence! ;)

I love this message. I, too am chugging protein shakes when I am not hungry to meet some "magic" number. And generally I do this late at night. I like your approach- and it makes great sense! Bravo! 🎉 thank you-- and-- it's good to see you! You look FAB!! 😊

Hi I'm new to your channel and just starting on Zepbound (wk #2); I 100% agree with you on our health care system! I'm definitely going to check out more infortmation about fasting insulin and ApoB (never heard of this). Thanks for sharing your thoughts and info.

YAY!!! That's the whole reason I put this stuff out there onto the interwebs. I am so excited for you to go down this rabbit hole and learn all the things! I feel so much more empowered(even though it's SEVERELY frustrating dealing with incompetent doctors/health care system) the more I learn on these subjects.

OMIGOSH WE WOULD TOTALLY BE BESTIES!!! I assume you're not in MN?? :( And what kind of horse do you have and what is the name and what discipline do you train and show??? I was an eventer and then switched to dressage after my Irish Sport horse gelding(Barn name: Jameson Reg name: Whiskey Tango Foxtrot) had surgery for bone chips 10 years ago. We are now both retired from showing and just enjoy hacking and trail rides.

You need a new doctor. I go to a naturopathic female doctor. Now she would never prescribe a GLP but she does provide all my bio identical hormone replacement. I get my GLP from a compounding pharmacy. I feel exactly the same way you do about our Sick Care industry. Why are you a vegan?

I DEFINITELY need a new doctor and would love to find a naturopathic or lifestyle medicine doctor near me. I was hoping that functional medicine doc I saw in the fall would work out but he was just another pill pusher(albeit non-pharmaceuticals but just TONS and TONS of supplements). I will take any necessary supplements that I can't get by modifying my daily nutrition but I try to get whole food forms of things as much as possible. My whole family has been plant based since July 2021(we do still eat eggs from my parents' farm a few times a month) and sneak real cheese here and there. Initially went plant based for health reasons and then broadened our scope to being vegan in our lifestyle(avoiding animal products in all aspects of life) once I finally had the courage to watch and learn and witness more about animal agriculture. Being vegan(as much as humanly possible in this world) just felt right as a huge animal lover that has worked with animal rescue causes my entire adult life. My spirit is more at peace with this way of life and more aligned with my values.

2 lbs a week is what you should be shooting for and its normal to go up and then down a few pounds. Try not to worry so much and focus on your end goal of 1 yr :) It's normal to lose more in the beginning because its water and inflammation not fat

Totally agree! My weight loss has severely slowed down in the past month, though(around .5 a week if I'm lucky sometimes) even with tons of daily movement and healthy eating/healthy lifestyle. So that's my main reason for feeling like titrating up at my next refill is the best decision for me at this time.

@@PeacocksPounds It coul definitely be. I just worry about women thinking it works like a diet pill. It works with hormones not like a phentermine. More doesnt necessary mean more loss but it could mean greater side effects. Just a food for thought :)

It is a service offered by my clinic(Ridgeview clinics in Minnesota). It's free as long as you are a registered Ridgeview patient. Super grateful! I wish more clinics had something like that for their patients.

What exactly did you mean by other blood tests? The ones I had to ask for that were NOT ones my primary care CNP usually orders at my annual physical were the two I mention in the video: ApoB and fasting insulin. Does that answer your question?

Sadly our healthcare system is getting worse. my dr told me 15 yrs ago that new doctors are mostly educated on prescribing drugs over lifestyle choices. NOW, we have DEI and Bridge nonsense to deal with. for example some medical colleges are passing failing students because of their race. they need more non-whites or asians in their graduating classes. WTF! there is a school in Cali that failed a surgery test and couldn't identify a main artery and they passed her because she was a person of color. i dont remember if she was latino or black. i'm thinking to myself, i dont want this person operating on me! DEI is destroying this country.
