I watched some people upload no hit run/stylish gameplay videos and the gameplay looks engaging there.

The jiggle was great.

seeing hoyoverse's take on Persona/Splatoon seems like it could go really well

No it is a predatory gambling simulator that mask itself as a game.

Is it a gatcha or not? I dont play gatcha games. I presume it is since its that similiar to other gatcha games.

Graphicly I do like their games. But I won't play any of them because of the predatory gatcha mechanics. If they would just make a single player game that can actually be purchased and played without gatcha taking over I would definitely get into it. Also not impressed with the censorship they added to the beta. Fan service censorship Id an immediate turn off for me. Great review though!

In Genshin and HSR are not predatory. HI3 is a bit predatory. Can't say about this game but it probably won't be.

The gatcha concepts prey on human psychology to direct your behavior into spending more and more and more money (and time). It's as unethical as contemporary strategies in advertising and marketing across media and society.

I already escaped the Genshin and Star Rail holes while finishing Honkai's fantastic story. I won't go back in.

People actually like gacha games? Their games look beautiful, but I’m put off by their F2P gacha business model. I would love to see them just make a really good, regular video game. I’m probably in the minority, though. 😅

They will never make a "normal" game ever again, they did and failed miserably. The only ones that did it were Cygames with Granblue.

If you have FOMO they might get you, but as someone content playing with default stuff I’ve never paid a dime on Fortnite Genshin or any F2P game and have still had a great time. These guys especially produce insanely high quality stuff for free

Said the guy with the World of Warcraft icon... my guy, i pay mothly and so do you unless you are a pirate. Also, hoyo is basicly thr most relyable developer qualitywise out there.

Hoyo will literally do everything up to and including making whole ass games before they give genshin players more content than mini games and one half hour story quest every forty days. HRS already feels dead to me so them making yet another gatcha to kill you for cash is hilarious.

@@mithstrifer1985I said it feels dead to me as in there’s nothing really to do not that it is dead. Learn to read. But ultimately it doesn’t really matter. HRS is on the unsatisfying trajectory as genshin and it’ll reach it sooner because there’s no deep exploration like genshin to act as a buffer. ZZZ looks like more of the same.

Also, learn to read, he said "Games feels dead TO ME" after explaining why, game gets like 2 hours of content every 2ish months for the sole reason to make people gamble for the FOMO character then repeat. If your whole idea of an "alive" game is "I get a 2 hours of new content every 2 months then do nothing but dailies in between" then hey, more power to you, but from a game that makes billions, that's straight up garbage.

Don't dive into gachashit, they're not real games and shouldn't be treated as such.

@@NoisyPixelNews Well they removed a lot of the swear words from the early cutscenes They also severely nerfed Nicole's bust. but that's about it really, honestly it's not that bad considering the swear words don't really add anything to the story, and Nicole's bust is...well okay that one is subjective but the current one is more...realistically proportioned, compared to the previous one which was way exaggerated, let's just say.

Well yea if you lose your account you have to spend even more money to pull the characters and weapons again. So realistically they’d be glad if you never got your old account back
