Shark girl's impatient is probably based on the fact that shark must always swim or they will drown. Very cool of the devs. Edit: yeah, most sharks will be fine if they stop swimming but only cool sharks do this.

​​@@vincentlhz9986They do sleep, but they find a place to get some sleep, they need those waters and its oxygens get in to their gills, for examples, a place with a flowing water like a currents or something like that Because once they stop/not swimming they'll drown, because of the lack of oxygen You can search more informations about sharks because I'm not good at English and bad at explaining something 👍

1:14 Interesting, they finally used animation blending (is that what they call it..? the Unity equivalent of Unreal's animation montages) for the lower body during idle animation. In Genshin the character's legs usually clip through stairs and slopes while they do their idle stuffs..

It really feels like they're finally trying out some fun and unique designs with this game instead of just making more pretty anime boys + girls. Granted there's still plenty of that, but with designs like Billy, Lycaon, Soukaku and Ben it really feels like they're experimenting a lot more. I'm eager to see more.

Yes but no. It's just Genshin's team is all amateur people. I mean this both respectfully and disrespectfully. Because they are legitimately new, but I mean it disrespectfully because they should have had some oversight. Being new to the industry is not an excuse. Honkai 3rd had good animations and that came out before Genshin. ZZZ is still an improvement over Honkai 3rd, but Genshin is a cliff in what would otherwise be a linear improvement.

Genshin world isn't flat. All other mhy games have flat floors, thats why they dont have feet through ground issue.

The first maid, the dark cat girl, the mechanic looking girl, Billy & the giant bear are my favs design wise so far😂

Yeah, the factions each have a theme. Belobog Industries are construction workers using their construction equipment as improv weapons, Victoria housekeeping have the maid butler aesthetic, using gardening tools, cutlery and cookware as weapons. The Cunning hares are freelancers and have more conventional weapons like revolvers and knives + Nicole's Swiss army knife suitcase. The blue girl is from a government department and uses a banner as her weapon.

Billy's very cool, reminds me of Deadpool and Red Hood mixed, with a little bit of Dante from Devil May Cry

These are all amazing but there’s definitely gonna be some fine tuning, mihoyo typically adds 2 idle animations for characters, so some characters will likely get a second one with matching dialogue. They did a great job on the animation though, and I’m excited to see what the other idle animations will look like
