Yes...and you can easily tell that it was Jean-Claude Biver. 🤓 Looks like Hublot now. Good looking, but not a Strong Design Identity because it looks like almost every sporty, modern luxury watch chronograph design. 😆 Very NOT unique. Not special enough, too generic. 😑

@@brunoschoelkopf9174 although I agree on the first part about Hublot and JCB (😂), I believe that despite obviously deciding to follow a trend in their designs/size etc. they managed to identify as one of the leaders in this trend and they finally have an identity again. IMO this IS a strong identity but that does not mean that I like this identity or that it is really unique.

Love the watches, very good review as always! I like how the less mainstream brands think more about the user than their image (concerning the bracelet, same as IWC). Though, the 1/100th of a second indicator makes me nervous when the chronograph is running 😂

Another super video, Alex! With regard to the ear/eye - brain - hand lag when starting the timer; surely the same lag would apply when stopping the timer? Ergo: An event timed to 1/100th of a second!

Very cool new strap attachment, looks like that on the defy midnight for man and women. The Defy series could be the standard bearer for Zenith, like wat the black bay 58 is to Tudor.

The micro blazed one has so shartp edges that along with the color it looks like a fighter jet. On the other hand, the brazelet sistem is realy clever, even though I personally prefer the sistem from IWC.

This watch is awesome! Wish there is an option to have this watch as a three-handed watch. Would be a perfect tool watch.

It does indeed look like an AP RO Offshore but it actually looks good to me. Something about the bezels on the offshore is just too chunky for me where this has that slight bit of elegance still.

The calibre is pretty huge... so I am not sure to what extend you can shrink the Defy and Defy Extreme

The black extreme or the ultraviolett are on top of my list to buy next! the color of the violett is so grat but the black extreme comes with more straps and 200m water resistance. so difficult to decide...

I still prefer the Defy El Primero 21 because it's thinner, smaller and doesn't have dodecagon around the bezel, which in my opinion, gives it a more clean look. Nevertheless, it's good to see Zenith moving forward. Meanwhile Rolex is "innovating" with their two tone Explorer 36 😂😂

Very nice watch, very comfy and light to wear in titanium. Outstanding perceived quality, less than the new Vacheron Overseas chronograph blue dial, equivalent of an IWC ingenieur chronograph racer. Huge success in Middle East. Price is 1/3 of the Vacheron...

I'm a fan of Zenith, I have two: the Defy 21 El Primero and the Revival Liberty. But I fail to see the purpose of this release unfortunately. Zenith already have the Defy 21 EP for their "Royal Oak Offshore" collection. Why release, essentially the same watch, but on steroid. The movement is also the same. I'm confused. I still prefer the Defy 21 EP. The only thing I'm envious of is the strap quick change system.

Is it possible to wear these bracelets on the ultraviolett?

Ich denke das hängt von der Größe der Uhr ab und davon was man mit ihr macht… auch meine Panerai Luminor GMT ist äußerlich mehr beschädigt als andere …

@@WatchAdvisor aber die scharfen kanten sind wirklich sehr anfällig dafür meine anderen uhren sind eckig. Mein ulysse nardin diver ist auch 44 und aus titan. Auch der oris diver chrono 8st sogar 45,5. Die zenith defy is trotzdem der Wahnsinn, aber lieber ohne zifferblatt. Aber vielen Dank für die antwort
