I purchased the Wi-fi version of this blind and the instructions are well let's not be rude, hard to understand. Thank you so much for your informative video, it's really done the job for me as my blind is working fine and all thanks to your video. My rubber drive gear was only 35mm even though it was advertised as being 38mm. I sent the first one back because of this and the second was exactly the same. As my tube inside diameter was 38mm I used self amalgamating tape to pack it out which seems to be working at the moment. Thanks again, Liked and subbed.

Hello, excellent video, I bought and programmed the product thanks to you, but the opening and closing parameters were wrong, how can I reset it to re-program it, thank you greetings.

I think I set wrong limits when trying to change direction of the motor. Does anyone know how to reset limits or factory reset?

Hey, Will this motor work with wider(5 feet wide) blind, as my blind is wider than this motor. Does a blind must need a motor which fits the housing or starts from 1 end and must reach the another end of the blind. Thanks

does it work with Home Assistant ?

Have you tried to source a 37mm to 38mm (80inch) pole to work with this, its virtually impossible in the UK. I whish to use my existing blind and convert it to work with this motor.

I used a 40mm plastic pipe from Screwfix which I had left over from putting drainage on a gazebo. I also had to use some self amalgamating tape on the drive gear because despite being advertised as 38mm it was in fact 35mm so needed packing out a little. My problem is connecting it through WiFi hence why I'm here. :-)

difficult to source blinds @ 38mm, have to make them yourself if you can source tube and material.

How do you erase a channel or all of it in the remote control?

Whats the best budget hub zigbee that works with majority of zigbee devices or would you stick with wifi or home assistant route

The best zigbee hub is a zigbee usb stick and open source software like homeassistant. This combination will understand any zigbee devices and sensors. Brand hubs will ignore devices and sensors of other brands.

Yes I put some oil either side of the blind.

Been using this type of blind for about a year I went with the louvolite this has a plug in charger so u don’t see the power lead just need to charge about every 6 months

is it compatible with zigbee, so u can control it via echo hub? or u bought their own hub on top?

Do you know if the Zigbee version can be paired up with a smarthings hub?

Another informative video, thanks. Disappointing that the Alexa operation is far from intuitive, as is the moulded plug. Who on earth has a 3 pin socket so near to a window? Edit : I just noticed that the thumbnail states " Alexa open the blind", however you mention (as does Alexa) that this terminology isn't supported
