Did the black motor piece increase the overall width of the distance between your original brackets? I have existing blinds which are recessed and the mounting brackets are hard up to the reveal on both sides, curious to know if this increases the width the brackets are apart as if that is the case mine wouldn’t not fit within the recess space if it needed to be wider. Any help appreciated

Great tutorial. I've got these working in each of my rooms! Most of my rooms have 2 windows, so I had to connect 2 rollers to one dongle. That was a bit tricky... There's no documentation on how to set that up, not that I could find anyway. I worked it out with a lot of trial and error. I'm interested to know if you've managed to set up a scene that activates multiple devices with a single trigger? For example, when the sun rises I want to open the blinds in every room. I've set up a scene to do this but it only ever runs in one room.... and nothing happens in the rest of the rooms. A workaround is setting up scenes for every room but that's inefficient and if you want to change the trigger setting (time for example) you have to update multiple scenes, which is annoying.

@@franzisfranzus1323 - One you've configured one roller blind switch it off completely with a long press for 7 seconds. Run through the setup process again, with same dongle and new roller blind. You have to turn the dongle back to sync mode (blinking blue light) for the app to pick it up again. Once the second roller blind is configured switch the first roller blind back on. They should both now receive commands from the same dongle. FYI - I had best success with the Tuya App

I've had several zemismart motors through the house for awhile not sure I would go with Zemismart again though they seem better than the single dooya rollerblind I ordered. I've had one DOA no replies from Zemismart when I asked about returning it under warranty. My bigger gripe is the roller blinds seem to randomly loose either upper or lower stop limit which can cause chaos I'm not sure what causes it not all at once just now and again on a random blind then it's fine for months perhaps house movement? Frustrating when it occurs. Avoid anything with an external dongle. Recommend getting zigbee version even if you don't use it initially. The solar panels they have as an option for the battery powered units aren't the best and I would buy something seperate. Wish the DC to DC converter was built into the blind motor so it charged at 5V regular USB input instead of requiring an adapter on the cable (other brands charge at 5V).

@@oksibcn its definitely a good upgrade i like the idea of it being hidden in the roller blind. Just a bit of a hassle when the battery runs out as there is no override so you have to get it charging to work but not the end of the world.

It's cool but 70£ and WiFi, it should work with remote directly like tools in the past without WiFi spy's stuff. Like in the past the remote power socket switches, no WiFi registration bs, straight rc Controlls.

Hi, Please make an adjustment on the limit setting. There are up to 6 middle limit settings. The only question is, if this is set and go into smart and set open on sun rise, it will go open to the first middle limit? When this is the case, I can help all my customers with this. There will also be the possibility to open to the next middle limit, after 10 minutes after sun rise and so on (when necessary of course). Hope to hear from you soon, so this issue is also solved for all my customers who like this very much. Thank you in advance, Antoine Stokbroeks Stokbroeks Solutions
