I suppose it's a start. But never once has Zelenski conceded that Donbas and Crimea are part of Russia. The last I read, he said the same thing again. It was also a big issue for Zelenski at the Istanbul talks. Bigger than the NATO issue. Russia will have to show Zelenski that these are part of Russia by force, and without his consent.

He doesn't care as much about accepting neutrality because he or a future leader can always turn back on that concession. Ceding territory however is permanent, unless it is recaptured by force of arms. In the meantime, the West can do whatever it wants with the territory of the country that isn't under Russian occupation. This is why his position is rigid but Russia isn't budging either. So, it's war until one side capitulates.

The Ukraine was Russian land, it was given to the people of that area as an act of brotherhood by Russia with agreements that it always remain free and neutral but the Ukrainians' chose to join the enemy of their brothers and turned their weapons on them killing thousands of men women and children in Donbas so we should feel no pity for these traitors.

Orban is the chosen emissary of the NATO block. They all sent him to do what he is doing. This is long in planning. The reason they publicly disavow him is because NATO needs to avoid giving the impression they were the first ones to blink in this standoff.

PM Orban is quite a man of intelligence and vision. He is the only man who could bring Ukraine war with Russia to come to end. All other European leaders have no initiative to reason as to make peace.

Okay this is weird. The West held peace talks without including Russia. The side that is fighting Ukraine. Now Russia is holding peace talks and not including Ukraine. How do you obtained,a one sided ceasefire ? That would be really cool. Maybe that same strategy could work in Gaza ?
